Most comfortable headphones for under $400?
phpp, for the Sennheiser HD569s, how well do they isolate sound without ANC? As for the JBL E65BT, does the ANC still work without bluetooth on? Sometimes I may want to just make a noisy environment quieter but don't feel like listening to music.- NullFear

Most comfortable headphones for under $400?
I would like to sell some of my other headphones to get a nicer pair. I want comfort to be the priority this time because I plan on wearing them for long periods of time. I want a list of some of the most comfortable headphones you know so that I can then pick out of those based on sound...- NullFear

Looking to upgrade from Shure SRH440
I have had my 8400s for a few days now and I couldn't imagine being happier! In my opinion it seems that the 8400s actually have more bass than the SRH440s. This could perhaps be because I listen to more electronic music so my definition of bass is much different than someone who listens to...- NullFear

Yes, I have been reading the reviews, and have heard that they have not too much bass. Even so, I hear that the sound stage is much better and they are really neutral as you say. I have definitely come to prefer a bit more neutral of a sound. BTW thanks for pointing me to that mod. I will...- NullFear

Head Direct RE0 vs Shure SRH440 vs KRK KNS 8400
I have had the Shure SRH440s for about a year now and am finally upgrading to a new set of KRK KNS 8400s. I agree that the 440s hurt, and have a terrible sound stage, however, I just don't perceive mine as being very bassy at all. I was hoping to get a set of headphones that keep the same level...- NullFear

Just ordered the KRK KNS 8400s. Based on most reviews and comparisons with my Shures, these should be much better for me!- NullFear

Thanks for the suggestion. The KRK KNS 8400s seem to line up with what I am looking for so far based on reviews. I will keep those in mind.- NullFear

Looking to upgrade from Shure SRH440
Oh! Thanks, I didn't realize that. I guess I just assumed since I didn't see it in any of the descriptions. Anyone with any closed-back suggestions?- NullFear

Looking to upgrade from Shure SRH440
I have owned the 440s for about a year now and as I have been maturing little by little as a music producer I have begun to realize that the 440s just aren't what I thought they were when I first bought them. The sound stage is incredibly narrow, their lack of bass leaves them sounding rather...- NullFear
