Drop + JVC HA-FDX1 Dual Carbon IEM...available in the US!
Thanks for the great review! I’m looking for a cheaper IEM with MOAR BASS to complement my Andros for daily portable usage out of my iphone but if I get it correctly, there is no major need to get this one if someone has an Andromeda, right? They seem like a budget-ish Andro. Right now, I’m...- Returnity

@shotgunshane Could you please compare these with CA Andromeda (especially regarding the lower end)?- Returnity

i1, born for iPhone7, the first " MFi " headphone amplifier from FiiO
Hey @FiiO , is the output still limited to 24bit/48 kHz? It’s been a while since these are on the market and I wonder if those “pending changes to the LAM” did happen or not.- Returnity

BQ3 might be one of the best V-shaped chi-fi IEMs. Great, well textured bass with amazing kick, slam and control. Treble is perfect and not sibilant at all. The only downside is that they might have tuned the mids just a tad more prominent, but hey, that's v-shape we're talking about. As a...- Returnity

Chinese / Asian Brand IEM Info Thread
Curious about this as well. I own BQ3 and think it's a fantastic v-shaped hybrid. But I assume the C10 is a more balanced or W-shaped IEM. Perhaps a TRN V80 vs C10 comparison would be more apt. People call the V80 as a V-shaped IEM as well, but since they have finely emphasized mids too, I...- Returnity

Frankly, I never care for the isolation part when I read reviews, although I use my IEM's mostly while commuting. IMHO 90% of the isolation is dependent on the tips you use. For me, a good tip collection is indispensable for anyone using IEMs extensively.- Returnity

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
It's unbelievable that all my complaints with 3.0 were fixed with this update, namely: - No crashes so far - Faster database building (fastest so far) - No more mandatory database building after turning off USB-DAC - Just a tad warmer, yet still clean sound I don't think they can ever top this...- Returnity

Finally received my BQEYZ BQ3! I enjoy their V-Shape signature a lot. For uncomplicated music they are very engaging but in progressive metal where things get quite busy all the time they tend to fall behind in detail retrieval compared to V80. Contrary to popular belief, I think the V80 is more...- Returnity

Campfire - Solaris
Yeah that is another crazy good deal right now. I'm on the fence between the new Vega plus cables and the b-stock or second hand Atlas to complement my Andros. Any contributions? I sooo wanted Solaris to be that complement but right now it looks more like an incremental up/sidegrade than a...- Returnity

NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
Wow, the B-stock Atlas is sooo tempting. And just as I was saving up for Solaris, all my plans crumble, LOL. I was originally looking for something with a fun signature to complement my Andros and Solaris seemed like a great idea at first. And now that the cat is out of the bag, it seems like...- Returnity

High end (IEM) cable thread: impressions, pics, comparisons and reviews.
How would you guys rate the sony 4.4mm kimber cable (muc-m12sb1) as far as the copper cables go? I'm thinking about using them between my WM1A and Andromeda in order to squeeze a little bit more oomph in the lower frequencies. I've been searching for a while but could not find any info about...- Returnity

SONY NW-WM1Z / WM1A
I've been away from this topic for a few weeks since I just gave up on v3.00 due to frequent crashes and returned to 1.2. I've been waiting for v3.01 ever since, but alas, nothing so far. Do we have a new method to eradicate this problem or any info regarding a new FW on the horizon?- Returnity
