A quick FYI for those who've not tried it, but if you're using the ZX300 as a BT DAC the buttons do actually control the Play/Pause, Skip and FF/RW on your source (an iPhone in my case). Interested to know if people using android can confirm all of the controls work for them too.

I made a cable this weekend with that very plug. A little fiddly but gives a solid connection and sounds the same as my original Pentaconn jack:

- You can name playlists to whatever you want. - You can create as many playlists as you want (only 10 Bookmark lists I believe) - If you're happy to do so, you can create a playlist on a PC and move the playlist file to the /MUSIC folder on the SD card (can save time)

Bluetooth DAC function is a great addition. Playlists are now available to my unaltered ZX300 (Malaysia model) - they weren't before. Slow as hell creating a playlist though. Let's see how many DAC converts there will be in the WM-1A/1Z forum - it's been seen as a "meh..." type feature by many...

Can anyone advise of a decent matt glass screen protector for the ZX300? I've looked around but can't find anything that I trust. If anyone has a good experience with one then can you let me know? Many thanks.

Didn't work for me last night with my RHA L1 using micro usb input. I'm not too confident with my current cable so I'll borrow a friends and try again over the weekend.

Never tried it that way round. I think I read that someone in the ZX300 forum tried and said no. I'm not sure if someone else can chime in, otherwise I can try later when I'm home. May need something like the FiiO L27 cable: http://amzn.eu/8ta1POO

I've got a couple of them. Great to keep one with your dap in case you need a little charge time and don't happen to have your main cable with you (there's nearly ALWAYS a micro usb around!). Also works well with the ZX300 when using it as a dac.
