Sennheiser HD 660s with bigger soundstage?

Interesting that you ask, the PRO Plus gives you a carrying case, extra longer coiled cable, and a spare headband. Otherwise they are identical. The frequency response is similar between the HD 490 PRO and NDH 30 and I have spent many hours listening to both. While there is a sonic similarity in...

Sennheiser HD 660s with bigger soundstage?

The HD560S is a shockingly good headphone, especially for the price. The voicing is fairly similar to the HD600 line except with more of a consumer bass curve (emphasised by comparison) and a sense of more detail (perhaps a little brighter). The soundstage is definitely better than the HD600 series.

Side x Side x Side - The HD 600 Family

I've come to embrace all of the headphones in the HD600 series. They have a very strong resemblance to each other sonically but are also balanced differently enough to all be interesting contenders in their own right. My all round favorite is probably the HD660S2 followed by the HD600.

    Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread

This is an interesting turn in topic as the issue of "Sennheiser Veil" has been around for nearly as long as the 600 series and all the variants that have followed. I've owned my HD650's since 2002? Can't remember exactly, but early enough to be the black silk driver version and decades before...

    Sennheiser HD 660S2 thread

Just had my first experience with the HD660S2 when a couple came through the service center in the last few days. I have to say they are a very impressive set of cans which very much embrace the HD600 family sound while offering a degree of refinement that is beyond any of the previous...
