The SHH3580's only have MIC control I thought, not volume or track control.

I love my SHE3850's to death but I have some issues with them.   Cable is way too noisy No inline mic or volume controls.   Any recommendations for IEMs that sound as good as the 3850's that resolve the above issues?

I am by no means an expert, but I just got my Philips SHE-3580 and so far I am a huge fan. I've been listening to them about about 2 hours and they sound fantastic.

Sound quality on the CKM50 is way better than the M6.  I use the extension cord that came with the CMK50 which IMO is way too long.  If you are just using the standard cord then yes, its too short, but then again, I'm 6'3".

I just picked up the a pair of the SHE-3580s and SHE-3575 with the mix.  I figured they would be the exact same except one with the mic.  I just tested both of them, and let me tell you, right out of the packaging, the 3580s sound WAY better than the 3575.  The 3575s are lacking in the bass dept...

After reading the dsNuts review of the ATH-CKM50, I figure I will give those a shot before I invest any more.  dsNuts should go work for Audio Technica.   Amazon is great on returns so, I can always return them and get something else.  

I keep the iPhone EQ either off or on Flat. The Equalizer app definitely helps brighten things up.  I have tested my 4s vs friends with the same audio source and it is about the same. So it isnt my phone or IEMs.  I think I just need to find a better pair of phones.
