K712 is brighter than K7XX and Fidelio X1 K701 is brighter than K712

Fidelio X1 has more of a cinema type of sound with big boosted bass and relatively soft sound everywhere else. It's not refined by any means but can be fun and easy to listen. K7XX should sit between the Fidelio X1 and the more neutral K712 PRO.

Your preference is very important here. AKG K702's sound is lighter and more expansive while AKG K712's sound is more full bodied and relaxed in the upper midrange.

If you want something that's HD800/S -like for less money you should get the Beyerdynamic DT880 (600 Ohm). If you want something warmer / fuller sounding (but still neutralish overall - unlike those Fidelios) you should consider the AKG K712 PRO.
