Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
Just saying, i got me an Asgard 2, and HD700. This is by far the best audio i have ever heard. I have no clue why there is so much hate towards the HD700, the slight warmness of the Asgard 2 combined with the HD700 is just fantastic. Although i will admit, when using the brighter Magni 2, they...- Macmuffin

Looking For Warm Sounding Tube Amp
Although i am having second thoughts due to the back order having the potential to take up to 4 weeks. I wonder if the Asgard 2 would be a good match to the HD700?- Macmuffin

Looking For Warm Sounding Tube Amp
Because i turned away from the DT880/T1 , and went with HD700. From what i hear the HD700 like tube amps, but don't need the "warmth" that the beyers need.- Macmuffin

Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
Well, in the end i think i am going to get HD700, because they seem like the middle ground i'm looking for. Plus right now on amazon there only 550.00 new. I also still might pick up a nice tube amp to go along with them. Thanks everyone for the input.- Macmuffin

Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
Also, I really like the Beyerdynamic sound, i just am not a fan of the harshness that they sometimes have in the top end. Thats why i'm thinking a tube amp would go good with them.- Macmuffin

Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
I might end up just buying the DT880/600 again, but getting a nice tube amp to help "warm" it up a bit. Maybe DT880 + Schiit VALHALLA 2. That would be $650.00 give or take.- Macmuffin

Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
Well i have been an on and off owner of the HD600 for about 2 years. TO be 100 percent honest, i think i just get bored of them after awhile, although i guess the same could be said for any pair of headphones. The reason i liked the DT880 was because i felt it produced more detail, and celerity...- Macmuffin

Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
I mean, to be honest i like bright headphones, just not harsh. I have read some people say the DT880 is brighter than the T1, and other say the T1 is still sometimes a little harsh in the top end.- Macmuffin

Upgrade From HD600 To Beyerdynamic T1.
I'm looking to upgrade from the HD600 to something new. I have been looking at the Beyerdynamic T1, but have some concerns. I owned the DT880/600 some time ago, and ended up selling them because the treble could sometimes be harsh to my ears. I hear some people say the T1's have a "spike" in the...- Macmuffin

Need A Middle Ground
Im looking for something in the middle of the DT800/600 and the HD600. I love the HD600 because its ease of listening, everything seemed balanced. I like the DT880/600 for it's amazing detail and bright sound, but for me sometimes they can be a bit harsh in the treble. So to make a long...- Macmuffin
