It is not. It has dual entry for the 3.5mm headphone cable but they are not wired to be balanced. I believe someone in this thread has opened them up and rewired them.

Make sure the same ear tips are on the two L3s so the comparison is the same as possible.

LOL I had to pretty much do that. I also looked at my MD+ iems to see if the cable and shape of the iem curve the same way. The L/R labeling on the cable is really hard to view

Post 232 (KMAN1211) on page 16 has pics of the actual vented holes on the cups. The outside design of the cups is not indicative of how open it is. Hope this helps.

Yeah at this point other products have beat it to market being smaller and some with mics for those who want to answer calls with their setup (ES100, BTR3, etc..). Sucks too because a lot of people, myself included, were looking forward to this.

I agree that the Null cable is crappy but I'm still using it over a year later and held up better than the stock. I used the stock (one time) on a plane the right iem slid out of the cable and fell in my hands. I was so nervous that it would have hit the ground and be crushed. I guess the...
