As far as I can recall, the HE1's amp component is already integrated into the headphones. It is nearly impossible to drive them with other non-customized electrostatic amps.

I plan to join the meet. I’ll bring 1266CC driven by Vista Spark, and Verum 1 and HD 800 driven by MCTH. The 1266CC and 800 are available for sale to fund a preamp for my speaker system. Look forward to listening to the LCD-4, Ygg, KGBH, Moth 2a3, and whatever Headamp brings.
