This might have been mentioned a million times (sorry, couldn’t find any definitive post), but I have no issues using the three different gain settings using V5i-D. Everything works perfectly.

Thanks! A lot of my other USB DAC's no longer work using hacked CCK interconnects (Lavricables etc.), so I guess I'll just have to give it at try. Have bought an official Apple CCK and will test it when the XD-05 arrives.

Nice! I've also replaced the opamp to a v5i-D, though waiting for a working lightning -> micro usb cable so I can connect to my iPhone.

This is great news! I recently bought the Q1, and the A5 is in the mail, but really: Q5 is what I need. The Q1 is having difficulties with Apple's broken CCK (ie. Lavricables' Lightning/USB CCK cable...
