The Official 64 Audio Thread | apex & tia Technologies
I will dive deeper into the comparison in my Fourté review. As far as the bodies, I will reach out to 64 to make sure my statement is correct, but they sure fit differently as far as I can feel. Theoretically, the A18 and the U18 should sound exactly the same.- EZE99

Really excited to be given the opportunity to review the U18 Tzar and the Fourté. Fourté review is not live yet, but my U18 review can be found here: https://www.head-fi.org/f/showcase/64-audio-u18-tzar.22420/reviews. The future is bright for 64, and I'm very excited for it- EZE99

Housing is tiny for how many drivers are hidden inside. You can tell it has a huge amount of drivers when listening. Such amazing layering in the soundstage and super detailed. Oh, and to clarify, that's 18 drivers per side.- EZE99

The most obvious way would be the fact that the IEM sounds different. In some cases, you will get a rattle if a driver is dislodged or loose. I have not had any problems yet, but if something does break (which I doubt will happen any time soon with the way Im babying my U18s), Ill let you know...- EZE99

Review by 'EZE99' on item '64 Audio U18 Tzar'
My preferred sound signature: A bit bass heavy, forward mids, and neutral treble. Love high detailed and clear sound. *All critical listening is done using a Chord Mojo* 64 Audio is a great family run company with a rich history. 64 Audio is unsurprisingly named after the year 1964, “a...- EZE99

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
Hello MrNice, I thought I could reach out to you for a quick comment. As a reviewer myself, I always put forth my honest unbiased opinion. Hopefully like other reviewers, I try to put myself into the shoes of the audiophiles who do not have the ability to audition the IEM before purchasing...- EZE99

Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
@FullCircle or anyone else who can answer, Can it be damaging to IEMs to put them in an airtight case with a dehumidifying packet? Will something inside dry out and change the sound? Can it be damaging in any way? Thanks, Ethan- EZE99

Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova
No. It is the same with all the CA lineup. Just the way the MMCX cable works.- EZE99

Im writing reviews for both the Katana and the Encore. My Encore review should come out in the next week or so. In that review, I will directly compare the two.- EZE99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
Had a long conversation with Ken at CanJam SoCal. He says that the Campfire Audio Over Ear unit is done, but they are having trouble anodizing it. It will come in 2 versions: the diamond driver (like on the Vega), and a Beryllium driver (like on the Dorado and Lyra II). I think he said the...- EZE99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
The Vega runs perfectly from my iPhone, however, you could look into a small DAC. I'd steer clear from an AMP unless you look at he specs and see it won't overdrive the Vegas. The Chord Mojo is quite possibly my best investment, I can not be happier with it. I'm not to into the AMPs and DACs, so...- EZE99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
DONT TRY TO GET A POWERFUL AMP!!!!! The Vega is so sensitive that just turning up the volume all the way on my iPhone 6 produces a hiss. I run mine from the Chord Mojo, which Is dead silent when the Vega's are plugged in. It's a bit pricey but completely worth it for any headphone.- EZE99

Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
The Vega is for sure for you. I am working on 4 reviews for CA products, and the Vega sounds perfect for you. The bass is the best I have heard in terms of detail, clarity, and texture of any headphone I have ever heard. The mids and highs are more relaxed. I have been traveling long days...- EZE99

Reply to review by 'eze99' on item 'Campfire Audio Andromeda'
At CanJam SoCal, I had 0 fit problems with the Andromeda. In fact, they were some of the most comfortable headphones I have ever tried on. Lightweight and fits in the ear perfectly creating a pretty good seal. Maybe you have smaller ears than I do...- EZE99

CanJam SoCal 2017 Impressions Thread!
Yea. Im listening to the Katana trying to get a good understanding of all the crap I got with me from CanJam so I can make a plan for my reviews. The Vega has better detail than the Katana, but the Katana's curve is more neutral and works for more things. Id reach for the Katana for serious...- EZE99

CanJam SoCal 2017 Impressions Thread!
The Vega has wowed me again the next day. And I have tried a crap-ton of IEMs. In my repertoire currently is a Katana, Vega, Encore, Savant, Jupiter, and a lot of other high end IEMs. I review IEMs daily, so I use IEMs all the time, and every day. I stand by the fact that the RE2000 has the...- EZE99

CanJam SoCal 2017 Impressions Thread!
Was talking to Chris (designer for 64Audio) and Bogan (CEO of 64Audio), who says they are making a bunch in the next few weeks, and will start shipping ASAP. I would have thrown down the money but I got a ton of other stuff for review. Was in my top 5 IEMs there for sure, and I look forward to...- EZE99

CanJam SoCal 2017 Impressions Thread!
As a TOTL IEM guy, I was quite surprised with the RE2000. However, it is the worst fitting IEM of all time. Its almost as if it were designed to fit badly. Its uncomfortable to wear, and not worth $2000. Get a Vega and call it a day haha.- EZE99
