What is everyone using as a phono preamp for their GSX mk2s? I am in the market for one and bummed to learn the preamp switch on it doesnt pertain to phono.

It will show up as speakers because thats the device that is controlling the audio sort of how a tv will show as speakers if you are using it as a monitor and audio out. Any way you need to use WASAPI to allow the dac to take over and change according to the output its receiving...

So I just got the X Sabre Pro with MQA and i cant seem to get it to sample above 24bit 44.1khz despite having tidal playing and it set to stream as Master settings. I made sure to update with the latest firmware as well. Am I doing something wrong or is there a setting I am missing?

Does any one have a recommended gain setting for a pair of Shure 535s? I have them in at low right now and it sounds super faint but I am worried if I go Medium or High that will damage them or even worse my hearing.

So you have had success with the benchmark dac3 and the gs-x mk2 running together? If you did try this combo how did it sound with the LCD-4s? I ask because I am thinking about making this the set up for my LCD-3s.

What is wrong with the Sabre chipset? I have heard good things in regards to Mytek and Benchmark but I do know they use sabre chipset.

Is there a list of DAC's that are suppose to pair well with the GSX MK2? Any to avoid?
