If you like the sound of Sennheiser, I believe that HD800S will be a good choice. Regarding to amp, I think HDV820 is good and comprehensive enough if you do not want to waste your time in your future play.

I could not agree more that HD600 is one of the classical products of Sennheiser: light wearing, healthy sound, etc.
