Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in our review we will look at amazing tribrid headphones from the 7hz company worth $400!
They arrive in a very nicely designed medium-sized box that contains the company logo, an image of the headphones themselves and the name of this model Aurora.
And at the back are the technical specifications, and the sound is controlled by a 12mm dynamic driver responsible for reproducing low frequencies, and here we were also supplied with two custom armature drivers for mid-frequencies, and all this is complemented by a planar micro driver with a diameter of 6 mm, responsible for reproducing high frequencies, and the sensitivity is 105 decibel and they got 30 ohm impedance.

Let's take a look at what's included!
- Excellent set of ear tips in a transparent case
- Good branded case for storing headphones
- Excellent heavy copper cable with 2 pin connectors and a modular system of replaceable plugs here we have both 3.5 and balanced 4.4 jacks.
- Manual for use

IMG_3333.JPG

And this is what the 7hz Aurora headphones look like, made of darkened medical resin, and they have an extremely interesting and rare front panel design that shimmers very beautifully in the light.
IMG_3325.JPG
IMG_3327.JPG

They received a standard 2-pin connector and next to it they gave us three compensation holes back.
And at the bottom there is a large inscription AURORA and channel markings.
The sound guide here is quite short but has a clear edge for better fixation of the ear pads and a gold insert.
And despite the rather large body of this model, they fit perfectly in the ears, even with the included ear tips, or with any other type of Divinus and Tangzu Sancai, the fit here is quite deep and everything is in perfect order with sound insulation.

How do these headphones sound?
график(6).png
And now, friends, we have come to the most important part of the review, namely the analysis of the sound of the 7hz Aurora tribrid headphones, and here everything is very familiar to me from the point of view of the approach to tuning, since there is a powerful and accurate low-frequency boost by as much as 10 decibels, with a neat transition from the midbass region to the midrange frequencies right up to that very familiar gain in the upper midrange region, and the high frequencies here have excellent extension.

Low Frequencies:
The low frequencies here are presented as super massive with deep sub-bass, excellent transparency and simply a gorgeously highlighted attack, the bass here does not sound relaxed or smeared and we have a very clear and highlighted kick and a clear punch in the mid-bass, which should especially please bassheads , since recently there have been few such bassier headphones in my reviews, and now the 7Hz Aurora just allows us to remember that same rolling and percussive bass, and for such a voluminous and pumped-up low end, respect from me.
Mid Frequencies:
But at mid frequencies it’s even more interesting, they are presented as very energetic with excellent weight and drive in the guitars, truly gorgeous airiness and excellent separation of images, and the presentation here does not feel dry or monitory at all, but on the contrary, it is a little warm, with a slight emphasis on upper mid to make the drums and vocals sound more prominent and exciting and I know that many of you like this less neutral and relaxed approach to tuning, and I can understand you perfectly, especially in comparison with the more neutral Tangzu Nezha headphones that play much more relaxed with less emphasis on the upper mids and such powerful drive and energy especially in the heavy genres of rock or metal, they definitely won’t give you anything for that, here’s an Фurora please.
The vocals here have excellent resolution without any hint of an armature timbre or its residual overtones, there is also excellent transparency of the voice and its image is perceived to be pushed a little forward along with the drum part, and this gives in many compositions a very pleasant immersion effect and more. enveloping deep stage design, and the drum part here with very confident emphasized transient processes simply perfectly complements this whole large-scale stereo panorama picture.

High Frequencies:
But at high frequencies here everything is exactly as I like, there is killer technology and simply insane analytics due to which these headphones literally disassemble heavy instrumental genres into separate parts and layers, and I note that all this is done extremely tactfully through the use of a planar driver, but Friends, agree that what is equally important is the detail in this area , and personally, I like it so that all the percussion cymbals sound very detailed in the overtones and have tails from reverberations that are not hidden anywhere, and various micro details and nuances, I think they should definitely be clearly audible and distinguishable, especially if we are already talking about these are top-end headphones in this price category, and they definitely work out this range as it should , and the excellent expansion of this area has definitely borne fruit here, which cannot but please me because of this, with all the trails and residual after-sounds, there is complete order here, even if the presentation here is not as neutral as in Nezha, but the resolution and increased detail and transparency here are simply mine respect, and of course I am glad that there is no hint of a fake resolution, and everything here sounds completely harmonious and correct, and at the same time, the most important thing is that only positive emotions remain after prolonged listening.
My conclusion on this headphones:
7hz Aurora are truly unique headphones due to the use of different types of emitters with extremely interesting settings and, most importantly, the output has a very driving, super emotional and bassy presentation, which should satisfy your taste. If you are tired of neutral and imposing headphones, then this is definitely your choice.

Pros: Very competent and accurate neutral tuning
A truly audiophile set for $249
Great accessories
Powerful and massive bass with a neat transition to the mid-bass region
Mid frequencies neutral are very pleasant and not tiring
High frequencies reveal all the details well and do not hide micro nuances
Excellent attacks and transients
Technical skills at a high level
The sound stage has excellent localization and a fairly wide construction
Cons: For me no.
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in our review we’ll talk about hybrid headphones from Letshuoer worth $249!
They come in a nicely designed medium-sized box that contains the company logo and the name of this new Cadenza 4 model.
And on the back are the technical specifications, and a ten-millimeter dynamic driver, one reinforcement driver from Sonion and two armature drivers from Knowles are responsible for the sound, and the sensitivity is 102 decibels and they received 15 ohm impedance.

IMG_3219.JPG
IMG_3223.JPG

Let's take a look at what's included!
And the first thing that greets us here is the envelope inside which is
- Warranty card.
- Product Certificate
- Manual for use

IMG_3225.JPG
IMG_3237.JPG

And here are the headphones themselves, which in my opinion look great.
IMG_3227.JPG

The front panel here received a metal insert with an abstract design and the company logo, and the cups themselves are made of very pleasant matte plastic, exactly the same as that of the Letshuer S15.

IMG_3253.JPG

They also have a standard 2-pin connector that runs straight along the body and next to it there is a single compensation hole!
IMG_3259.JPG

And here we were given the channel markings and additionally the name of the Cadenza 4 model.
But the sound guide here is quite elongated with a good rim for better fixation of the ear tips, and has three holes where the filters from Knowles are very clearly visible.

IMG_3235.JPG

With the fit and ergonomics, everything is in perfect order here, as is the case with my favorite planar headphones S15, the Cadenza fits just as perfectly in my ears, nothing presses anywhere, and in fact we have excellent sound insulation.
Accessories!
Now let's look at the accessories.
- Round black box made of pleasant soft-touch plastic.
- A truly excellent cable with conveniently formed earhooks, 2-pin connectors, and the ability to replace the plug with any of the three.
Both 3.5 and 2.5, and balanced 4.4 and they are all angular.
- And the final touch is a set of high-quality ear tips in a convenient organizer.

How do these headphones sound?
graph(5).png

And now, friends, we have come to the most important part of the review, namely the analysis of the sound of these hybrid headphones, and here everything is actually interesting and I think it is correctly designed from the point of view of the approach to tuning, this is a perfectly finished pleasant Harman tuning, dim in presentation, with boost low frequencies at a noticeable 7 decibels, with a very precise approach to mid frequencies up to a neat and, most importantly, not excessive amplification of the upper mid region, but the high frequencies here are simply beautiful, they received a good expansion up to 14 kHz and after that they have a neat, smooth roll-off familiar to us.
Low Frequencies:
And of course, low frequencies are presented here as fundamental and I have no questions about them at all, the sub-bass region here has excellent weight and depth and the very basis for bass formation, and midbass simply perfectly complements this whole powerful, extremely punchy picture due to its clearly defined attack and an obvious very vigorous punch, but this model is still not for bassheads, but I’m sure all the other guys will be happy here, since here there is literally an ideal combination of the amount of bass and the quality of texture reproduction and clear audibility of saturation and distortion in guitars, which in my opinion is no less important, and I hope you agree with me.
Mid Frequencies:
And the mid frequencies in these headphones are presented as smooth and neat without any excessive sharpness and brightness and obvious emphasis on the vocal part, since the bass and the upper mid area here are exactly as I like, namely in parity due to which I immediately liked this familiar neutral a delivery that has the right amount of heat with the excellent necessary transparency so that everything sounds more separate and accurate in space.
But both male and female vocals here sound super richly weighty with excellent resolution and, most importantly, with a sufficiently large amount of air, which definitely had a positive effect on the better disclosure of this range and significantly helped in all that is called the glory of swinging the vocal part and instruments so as not to sound like it is dully closed and dark.
But for the snare drum, respect from me because of the slight emphasis on the upper middle and generally neutral tuning, I like it exactly like that, just slightly emphasized in the mix and does not stand out against the background of everything else, but simply neatly makes its work leave behind good aftertaste from reverberation.

High Frequencies:
But at high frequencies there is a very neutral, very calm and precise approach to tuning, when the manufacturer does not have a goal to make this model pretentious in this area and add some unnecessary fake detail by amplifying this area, which is especially common in inexpensive headphones, here we have the opposite, everything was designed with taste and audiophile verified, which is actually not surprising since the Letshuer company has definitely developed experience in this regard and they understand what real audiophiles need, since it seems to me that this model is simply ideal for them.
Since there is also excellent detailing with a slightly warm presentation, slightly softened at the edges, with excellent technicality and simply excellent additional shine on the cymbals, that is, they do not take much attention here, but simply accurately and focusedly complement the composition without excessive intrusiveness and sibilance, and let me answer right away, there is no metallic color or reinforcement overtones here, which definitely pleased me and I think I should tell you about it.
And it is also worth noting that there is simply an excellent bias in micro and macro details, so all the percussion and various small sounds will be like the palm of your hand, and the very long tails from the reverberation here do not end very abruptly, but on the contrary, have a very long continuation.

My conclusion on this headphones:
Letshuoer Cadenza 4, without any doubt, is a very pleasant audiophile and properly configured hybrid headphone that I liked from the first listen, and given its price, it represents very powerful competition and is fighting back against other models right now.

Celest Pandamon 2.0 review of square planar headphones by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Nice appearance and accessories.
More pronounced and slightly improved bass compared to Pandamon 1.0
Quite good articulation and intelligibility of mid frequencies.
Cons: I would like to get a longer nozzle for a better fit in the ears
Not the most technical or analytical, it's just a musical set
Quite strongly accentuated upper mids
Not the most textured or transparent bass
Lacks overall transparency and detail
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in our review we will look at planar headphones from the Celest company.

They come in a small, stylishly designed box, there are hieroglyphs and the name of this model Pandamon 2.0, and yes, you guessed it, this is an update of those same legendary headphones that have been talked about a lot even recently.
Well, at the back, as always, the technical specifications are indicated; a 10 mm square planar 2.0 driver is responsible for the sound here, and the sensitivity is 108 dB and they have a 9 ohm impedance.
IMG_20240327_231704_418.jpg
IMG_20240327_231710_108.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
IMG_20240327_231728_779.jpgIMG_20240327_231812_428.jpg

The headphones here are completely made of very smooth and transparent resin and in my case have a blue color, and the front panel here has a golden company logo and in general the design is very reminiscent of the previous new product Plutus Beast and I think you remember it well.
And the only compensation hole is located very close to the 2-pin connector, which is flush with the body, which is good for me.
But the sound guide here is of medium diameter, but it definitely should have been made longer for a much better and deeper fit, since these headphones did not sit well in my ear with all the ear pads, and this happens very rarely, and here, due to the incorrect selection of ear pads, the sound insulation is very poor and there is a large bass leak, and in the end, using the selection method, I settled on the Tangzu Sancai tips, with them they are very different from myself, I recommend them for these headphones.

Accessories!
And all the accessories are in this leather case with the company logo and here we get
1 - Quite a good cable that does not get tangled and is made without any audiophile frills with 2 pin connectors and a 3.5 jack plug.

IMG_20240327_232018_750.jpg
IMG_20240327_232031_594.jpg

2 - Nice leather case and big manual.
IMG_20240327_231903_233.jpg

3 - Two sets of standard silicone ear pads, some balanced, others with an emphasis on vocals.

IMG_20240327_231948_200.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
And now we come to the most important part of the review - the analysis of the sound of the updated Pandamon 2.0.
And I would like to start with the fact that the first thing I pay attention to when connecting these headphones is the rather energetic and driving, pronounced presentation of mid frequencies, and as such, I personally don’t see any similarity with other models from what I’ve been listening to lately , the Celest company is again going its own way and while it is not changing any basic concept that they adhere to to this day, and, in my opinion, they are only slightly and carefully trying to improve it by correcting some of the main points.

Low Frequencies:
And let's start with the low frequencies, which here have become more thorough, the overall massiveness and depth have grown, the bass is textured with good textural elaboration, but personally I would like to get more transparency for better perception and audibility of saturation, but I think that the driver here is already trying to the limit and he has no goal of setting any super records in this regard.
But the mid bass here has finally become more pronounced punchy with a better highlighted attack and smooth decay, but of course it still doesn’t go into bassheadness, so bassheads again, no offense, just accept it, and the kick here quite clearly complements this range with its best Compared to the original, there is a distinct outline and a punchy component, that is, now the low frequencies do not play as softly as they did in the original, and they have been improved quantitatively here, which is good for me.

Mid Frequencies:
But at mid frequencies there is immediately noticeable additional emphasis on the vocal part and on the drum part and a noticeable weight on the lower middle, the snare drum and vocals are noticeably pushed forward and this is immediately felt and to some extent it is perceived even slightly intimately and with a feeling as if the vocalist is in your head exactly in the center and, based on my experience, this is precisely due to the greater amplification of the upper mid area, and I would still reduce it to my taste, moving this model a little to a more neutral warm side although I like the articulation and intelligibility of the vocals here, it doesn’t sound muffled or dark and in general it is perceived at a quite good level and this model does not go towards the brightly colored side, which is a plus for me, but personally I wouldn’t mind getting more here better clarity of transients and attacks especially on drums and increased transparency that we can still find in other real planar headphones.
High Frequencies:
Now let’s talk about the high frequencies, which here have a warm but darkish tone, there is no additional gain or excessive super piercing brightness, and the percussion cymbals don’t take much attention here, since we had to squeeze them a little and move them aside so that they would just do their job slightly in the background with a slight presence and the signature bold, highlighted timbre of this spd driver, but its resolution and detail here are of course not record-breaking; it’s trivial that everything rests on this emitter and as for me, he simply cannot jump above his capabilities, since everything has its limit, here we also do not see that familiar super obvious planar clarity and legibility with a lot of air, and in general, as for me, this model does not go too far into obvious killer technicality, but still like the original, it has more of a purely musical bias, and of course I’m sure that there will definitely be fans of such a presentation, and in general we saw something similar in the original Pandamon, but I personally would like to see more global changes in this area, although I understand that then we would definitely have to raise the final price of the product and use another driver and it is quite possible that a really good reinforcement emitter would not hurt here.
Stage and stereo panorama:
But the sound stage here is quite standard, it’s definitely not record-breaking wide and, in my opinion, it’s rather simply more optimal without any stretching or excessive expansion of stereo images, and of course it doesn’t feel super deep, but the plans themselves are quite legible here, although without any wow effect, especially after expensive headphones.

My conclusion on this headphones:
Celest Pandamon 2.0 are not expensive headphones with a very familiar tuning and presentation of an obvious calm neutrality, this model definitely does not go away, but I wouldn’t exactly call them super bright and straight light, rather here we have something in the middle, as if you can see what then there is a balance, and the whole signature celest concept that is loved by many is still fully respected.

thank you for the review! i found the originals already too strong in the subbass bleeding over even the mids and reaching at least down to 30hz. at least with the tips with the red inner core they came with. i might pass on these if they even have more bass. soundstagewise the originals have exceptional depth for planar iems to my eras compared to even much pricier ba or hybrid sets. some dd drivers might reach as deep dimensionally tho.

@sofastreamer Yes, the originals were also good, although I still like the new appearance of 2.0 better, but as for the sound, I personally expected more global improvements such as a more transparent and technical sound with better detail at high frequencies, perhaps we will still see this in Pandamon 3.0?
This would be good, but in this case I think they would have to move to a different price range.

KiwiEars Singolo review of dynamic headphones by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Beautiful appearance and made of resin
Powerful and textured bass
Sub bass is deep and solid
Mid bass is punchy and does not interfere with the development of mid frequencies
The mids are quite transparent and warm and are presented very energetically and drivingly.
Timbres and overtones are good
Transient processes on drums show themselves well
High frequencies are detailed and have good resolution
Cons: Very simple accessories
The nozzle is quite short, if it were longer it would be better.
Not the most technical and analytical, but rather more musical and simply allowing you to enjoy the music without paying attention to various nuances
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we will look at dynamic headphones from the company KiwiEars and this is a collaboration with the very famous reviewer Crinacle and I think you probably know him.
The headphones here come in a very small but nicely designed box, there is an image of the headphones themselves, and the name of this model is Singolo.
IMG_2953.JPG

And here are the technical specifications for the sound, an eleven-millimeter custom dynamic driver and a special acoustic resonance system, abbreviated as KARS, we’ll talk about it a little later, are responsible for the sound, but the sensitivity is 108dB and they received a 32ohm impedance.

IMG_2954.JPG

Let's take a look at what's included!
The headphones here have a standard 2-pin connector and are completely made of very smooth resin and in my case have a blue front panel complemented by interesting shimmers and the company logo, and the inside of the case is generally transparent, and here we can see the dynamic driver very clearly!
IMG_2957.JPG
IMG_2967.JPG

Well, the usual compensation holes are not here, since their function is performed by this small KARS system in the form of tubes and it controls the air flow entering the speaker and, most importantly, it regulates the low-frequency range, since it is thanks to this that it was possible to achieve clean and powerful high-quality bass.
IMG_2970.JPG
IMG_2971.JPG

And yes, I’ll answer right away that there is no problem with the vacuum effect; you don’t have to worry about that.
But the sound guide here is of medium diameter but not very long, because of this, with some ear tips they sit quite relaxed in my ears, but don’t be alarmed, as in the case, by trial and error you can find something that suits you and there are no problems it won’t.

Accessories!
Well, as for accessories, everything is quite simple.
1. We get a completely ordinary cable 1.2 meters long, with 2 pin connectors and a 3.5 jack plug.
2. Two sets of silicone ear tips.
3. And a manual for use.

How do these headphones sound?

And now we come to the most important part of the review, the analysis of the sound of the KiwiEars Singolo headphones and there is really something to talk about here, since after all, the tuning here is not quite typical of what has come out recently among dynamic new products, and so let’s say in what then even they have their own uniqueness in this regard, since Krinakl decided to make, first of all, a powerful bass by increasing the low frequencies by 8 dB, but at the same time, I note that I did not see this model in some kind of fierce basshead with a bloated bass, which I think is correct solution, and of course it’s worth saying that in general the tuning here is U-shaped,with a noticeable predominance of warmth at mid frequencies with a slight relaxation in the lower middle, and the whole thing is complemented by neat and detailed high frequencies, and as you understand, the headphones are not bright, and have a rather neutral tone of presentation, they do not have any obvious bias that in the mids that in the high frequencies, and at the output we have a fairly balanced presentation since the upper mids and low frequencies are at parity here, and nothing comes out ahead of everything else, as is especially the case in bright headphones with excessive amplification of the upper mids.
Low Frequencies:
The low frequencies here are really good, the bass is my respect, it’s massive, textured, super booming with a smooth decay and a dedicated attack with good transparency, and what I liked was its obvious highlighted punch, but I’ll note without any excessive dominance over the mids, as it happens in real basshead models, that is, the bass does not cover or hide the vocal part at all, but on the contrary, it is clearly abstracted from this area and simply performs its extremely controlled work only in its own area without in any way interfering with everything else from opening up and I would like to note that if you are a fan of good, electronics or hip-hop, and in general genres where bass and kick are an important part, you should definitely like these headphones, at least due to such solid and punchy low frequencies
Mid Frequencies:
But the mid frequencies here have a rather interesting preserved line between warm, pleasant neutrality and at the same time with additional energy in the upper midrange so that everything does not sound lifeless and boring that is, here they still didn’t spare us and added that same energy with good retention of drive, which will be especially important for rock and metal, and I like that the vocals here are presented as I like, neatly transparent with good weight, coming a little ahead in the production along with the drums part, but at the same time there is no sibilance or shrillness in the vocal part, and the timbres and overtones here are very well developed, and the obvious clear attacks and transients on the drums here simply neatly complement the whole thing, along with the loops from the reverberation, which here do not end abruptly, but on the contrary, they turned out to be very extended, which is definitely pleasing, especially in this price category, and let me remind you that the headphones cost $80!

High Frequencies:
But at high frequencies it’s even more interesting here, they are presented with good conservation of energy and attack, that is, the cymbals don’t sound blurry, on the contrary, they clearly and clearly stand out in the overall mix along with the percussion, but at the same time, I’ll note there is no excessive brightness or bad timbre and the detail and resolution here are very good, although it seems to me that technicality and analytics have gone a little into the background here since in general the presentation here turned out to be neat, warm and a little smooth, and without such killer techics as for example in Simgot EA500LM where you can literally disassemble the entire composition into parts, here it’s as if we are simply given the opportunity to enjoy the composition without obvious hard audiophilia , just what I call it, you turn on the music and the headphones don’t throw various problems in your face with information of some obvious micro nuances, but at the same time they reliably and very verified literally convey all the information to you on a silver platter.
Stage and stereo panorama:
Well, as for the sound stage, it is average in terms of construction, but the instruments do not get lost in space, they sound very separate and there are no problems with their definition, and if there were a little more open sound here it would be absolutely great.
My conclusion on this headphones:
KiwiEars Singolo are very peppy dynamic headphones that are a completely universal solution for most musical genres and lovers of such a neutral, slightly bassy warm presentation should definitely appreciate them.

@o0genesis0o yes, it would be better if the nozzle was fixed, for example, I also had a problem with Pandamon 2.0 due to the short nozzle, I spent a long time selecting ear pads and often got bass leakage, but if you still managed to find the right one, then great

Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we will look at very interesting hybrid headphones from the CVJ company and this is a limited version released for Valentine's Day, called Bidong.
And the headphones come in a very weighty box with a nice envelope design, and here on the back there is this picture.
IMG_20240325_164532_359.jpg
IMG_20240325_164541_623.jpg

And when we open the box, we are greeted by a heart and the inscription love forever, it’s cool, yes, and I personally have never seen anything like this, and there’s also this little poem about love in two languages.

Let's take a look at what's included!

IMG_20240325_164613_308.jpg
IMG_20240325_164630_386.jpg

Yes, the technical characteristics on the box are not indicated anywhere here, but in short, 1 dynamic driver and as many as 6 armature drivers are responsible for the sound here, and as for me, this combination is extremely interesting, and they also got 28 ohm impedance and sensitivity is 112 dB, so for the drive the headphones are quite light.
The headphones here are completely made of aviation aluminum alloy, so they are quite light but at the same time very large and wide, on the front panel there is a pattern of squares and the cvj company logo, and the only compensation hole is located here, as is the 2-pin connector next to it There are markings for the right and left channels, but the nozzle here is quite wide and has a gold mesh, but the fit, by the way, is surprisingly good.
IMG_20240325_164726_473.jpg
IMG_20240325_164735_808.jpg

Personally, the headphones sit very tightly in my ears, nothing presses anywhere and there is no discomfort, and the rim on the sound guide is here performs its function well and I personally used headphones with Divinus ear tips.

A truly audiophile cable coated with high-purity silver, with 2-pin connectors and the ability to install any plug, for example, balanced 4.4, standard 3.5 and balanced 2.5, and there’s even a tcnm USB type C with a built-in cx31993 DAC and a USB adapter for connecting, for example to the computer, well, where would we be without a set of silicone ear tips!
There is also a manual, a warranty card, and a round card with quality control.
And these 8 roses, of course, are a cool addition to this whole concept for Valentine’s Day, and I will even say that they smell very strong and pleasant.

How do these headphones sound?
Here we have a very good boost of 8 decibels at low frequencies, which of course affected the amount of bass, and there is actually more of it here than in all the latest headphones that I have seen recently, so here I can already attribute this model to basshead hybrids, Yes, and I liked that the mid frequencies here are designed exactly as I like with a very neat and slight emphasis on the upper mids without any dominance over other frequencies, especially over the bass, and believe me, this happens very often.
And of course, at the edges here the high frequencies have been tidied up a little for us, but everything is quite within the norm and yes, I’ll answer right away that the presentation of the headphones is not bright, which is a plus for me.

Low Frequencies:
And in fact, here we have a very good predominance of massive and deep low frequencies, the sub-bass here is really in perfect order and hums as it should, giving a good and noticeable subwoofer effect, and the midbass here is presented as very shocking, extremely punchy with a good elaboration of texture and overall texture bass, and does not feel relaxed, but rather very clearly controlled and does not interfere with other frequencies , that is, everything here is designed according to the highest canons of headphones with a dynamic driver, and I can highly recommend this model for consideration by bassheads!
Mid Frequencies:
I also liked how the mid frequencies are presented very correctly here, which are presented as very transparent, super airy, with a little lightness in the instruments, but at the same time I really like this neutral and not bright tone of the vocal part, which here will not bore you with its excessive presence and intrusiveness, as often happens in bright headphones with an emphasis on the upper middle, so here such a problem is not observed at all, and the timbres here are very natural despite the presence of armature drivers, and there are not a few of them, but as many as 6, so everything here is presented very uniformly as and should be on properly designed hybrid headphones.

High Frequencies:
But at high frequencies there is excellent expansion with slight additional detail on the cymbals, and sufficient duration with pleasant but very neat attenuation, and what also pleased me is that the headphones here have a very good bias towards technicality, which I very much appreciate.
I approve due to this they do a great job with heavier instrumental overloaded tracks and are incredibly suitable for something acoustic or classical music, with cello, strings or wind instruments, so yes, there are no restrictions on genres here, and I would not call this presentation dry or monitor-like, on the contrary, everything here sounds very emotional and with that very mature sound, so all the music in them plays very well interesting and truly exciting, but there are no sibilants in this area at all, since this model does not have the task of pulling out various shortcomings of mixing in music, which in my opinion is good, so just connect them and enjoy.

Stage and stereo panorama:
As for the stereo panorama and its elaboration, everything here is already quite familiar to me, the stage’s width is very well constructed, and correctly covers it with its no less modest depth, the instruments do not get lost in space, and sound very separate, so you don't have problems identifying them It definitely won't happen here!
My conclusion on this headphones:
Cvj Bidong is a very interesting new product that appeared super unexpectedly but was able to immediately surprise me, firstly with its powerful, literally enveloping massive and deep bass and secondly with a very correct and neutral presentation of mids and very detailed high frequencies where there is good technique and analytics that are not lost anywhere with a very obvious transparency and air.

Kefine Delci review of dynamic headphones by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Very good and pleasant balanced tuning
Not boring and not bright, I approve of it
Deep sub-bass with nice subwoofer effect
Bass quality and texture reproduction are very high
Mids are warm with good amount of air and sound transparent
No harsh timbres or overtones, only natural good timbres
Treble is surprisingly long lasting and very balanced
Excellent demonstrative technique and analytics
Superbly wide soundstage, literally takes me to another dimension
Cons: I would have liked to have had a more prominent attack on the bass, but this is mostly needed in hip hop or electronic genres, if you listen to something else then it won't bother you.
Introduction!
Hello friends, today in our review we will look at dynamic headphones from Kefine.
And they come in a small box with very minimal design, just a picture of the headphones themselves and the name of this Delci model.

IMG_20240320_195308_374.jpg
IMG_20240320_195301_071.jpg

And on the back are the technical specifications, a 10 mm dynamic driver is responsible for the sound here, and the sensitivity is 108dB and they have a 28ohm impedance, and they are quite easy to drive.
Let's take a look at what's included!
IMG_20240320_195347_546.jpg
IMG_20240320_195415_980.jpg

The headphones here are completely made of metal, so they are quite light and I’m glad that they are not very large, and on the front panel there is a company logo and two compensation holes are located on the inside next to the markings of the left and right channels, there is also a standard 2-pin connector!
IMG_20240320_195500_266.jpg
IMG_20240320_195527_487.jpg

But the sound guide here is quite slightly elongated and has a very distinct side so that the ear pads cling here more reliably it performs its function perfectly and in general everything is fine with the fit, although it seems to me that the sound guide could be made longer for a better and tighter fit, at least in my case.
Accessories!
IMG_20240320_195655_453.jpg
IMG_20240320_195715_505.jpg

And all the accessories are in this great leather case with the company logo, and that's what we get.
(1) An excellent copper cable with 2-pin connectors and a 3.5 jack plug.
(2) Standard silicone tips.
(3) A manual in two languages and a quality control card.

How do these headphones sound?
Now we have come to the most important part of the review, an analysis of the sound of these amazing dynamic kefine delchi headphones, and I have been asked a lot about them lately, how do they sound, since there have been some disputes on this matter, but I hope After my review, you will have absolutely no questions and everything will be clear to you.
The_words_ICYGENIUS_on_a_black_bentley_hood_in(1).jpg

And I would like to start with the fact that the first thing I liked when I connected these headphones was this, that same neutral, very balanced tuning, with correctly emphasized bass with a very neat approach to the mids, and the upper mids were pulled up perfectly exactly according to my target...well, the high frequencies are just a fairy tale, they are very long lasting for purely dynamic headphones, it’s just some kind of beauty, you’ll agree, here the tuning was not bright for us, and the whole concept of tuning is very clear and familiar to me and in this regard I definitely appreciate respect to the manufacturer.
Low Frequencies:
Now let's start with the low frequencies, which here have a good volume and weight, a deep and well-developed subwoofer rumble but without obvious bassheading, and the bass here does not sound monotonous and its texture is very good, distortion is audible and all the harmonics are due to saturation and very transparent, that is, there is no turbidity here, but the only thing I would like to get is a more highlighted and punchy midbass since it feels a little relaxed on the attack, that very obvious highlighted impulse would not hurt here, but again, I don’t think that everyone will notice this and basically you pay attention to it only in hip-hop or electronic genres and provided you have good expensive reference headphones, but as for rock or metal, it’s orderly and I don’t think it will bother you , these are not the genres where it will be so significant since, as a rule, synthesizer basses are very rarely used there.
Mid Frequencies:
But at mid frequencies there is almost standard neutrality with a slight warm tone in the vocal part, and I like the way everything is presented here, the vocals are very clear, very slightly highlighted a little forward and do not take on too much attention, they sound very balanced and correctly staged with good transparency and optimal amount of air, there is no darkness here, dryness or an enclosed space where all the oxygen has been cut off to you, on the contrary, everything here is very breathable and the timbres here are very correct and practically do not have any extra color and unpleasant squeals of rustling or overtones, as happens especially in bright headphones with excessive amplification of this area, that is, a let down the result is that everything here is presented carefully with a little emotionality but without any excessive tediousness, since at the end we get a very immersive, atmospheric and smooth presentation that gives only positive emotions and in terms of attacks and transient processes, everything is fine here, since the snare drum does not feel blurred when hit and leaves behind long tails from reverberation, that is, this is in complete order.

High Frequencies:
But at high frequencies everything is doubly more interesting, I like that these headphones did not lead into the dark side, as is often the case with dynamic headphones at this price, but on the contrary, they literally revealed to us how much the driver potential allows, all the percussion cymbals and various small micro and macro details that you can only find in your compositions.
And as for me, what we get here is simply gorgeous analytics that are not hidden anywhere and no less lost technicality, that is, everything is exactly as I like, they gave us a little air, added transparency so that everything sounded more open, but also did not lose the main indicative moments at high frequencies. good headphones as a technician and analyst, at the same time, I will note that there is no sibilance of vile timbre or sonority, and again, as in the situation with averages, there is no additional gain or color observed here, and there is a small peak in the graph, but it just slightly does its job, but no more he has no goal of taking all the attention to himself and throwing all the hihats in our faces, as well as various nuances of recordings and mixing, that is, the headphones even play out some poorly recorded material quite cheerfully

Stage and stereo panorama:
But the sound stage surprised me from the first listening, damn, it’s beautiful, a gorgeous extended stereo panorama, that is, the balance between the channels is very good, everything sounds separate and all the plans are very detailed and don’t sound like one piece, but on the contrary, they are very clearly aligned in space among the dynamic headphones and at such a low cost it’s not so easy to find one.
My conclusion on this headphones:
IMG_20240320_195756_882.jpg

Kefine Delci are simply super amazing, very balanced neutral dynamic headphones that fell in love with me immediately from the first listening, firstly with their competent and understandable tuning, and secondly with their super absorbing sound stage that literally takes you to another dimension.
Without any doubt, I recommend these headphones for purchase, and fans of such tuning will definitely appreciate them.

FOSI AUDIO SK02 review of dac by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Excellent, very neutral sound signature with a transparent and cool tone as a modern source should have
Attacks and transients at their best
Very powerful
ES9038Q2M
Supports High-Res PCM384kHz, DSD256
Vibrant LED Indicators
Cons: Doesn't have
Introduction!
Friends, I welcome everyone, today in the review we will look at a DAC amplifier from the company FOSI AUDIO, called SK02 and I’m sure you probably saw it in my previous reviews of different headphones and I used it for several weeks to test it thoroughly and share my operating experience.
It comes in a very small standard box with essentially no information about this device other than this sticker SK02.

IMG_20240318_162341_893.jpg
IMG_20240318_162354_362.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
The set here is very small, we get
1.Headphone Amplifier
2.USB Type C cable two in one with this adapter.
3.User manual in several languages.

IMG_20240318_162502_136.jpg
IMG_20240318_162535_252.jpg

Still, I like the way this amplifier looks.
And on the front panel it has 2 buttons, one for switching the gain mode from low to high, and switching the USB mode to optics and vice versa, and under it there are quite bright LED indicators that display the sampling frequency of PCM and DSD and this is 64.128 or 256 , and by the way, the amplifier weighs 380 grams.

IMG_20240318_162935_966.jpg

And the all-metal round knob here has endless rotation and tactile pleasant clicks that you can feel when you turn the knob, and you can press it like this once to play or pause the music and if you press and hold, you can turn off the power, and from the unusual thing, here is a purple volume level indicator that flashes when playing low frequencies in the track, and this is a rather unusual sight, I’ll tell you.
But on the rear panel there are 3 outputs, namely usb type c for connecting, for example, the supplied cable, as well as one optical output and an AUX 3.5 mm port for outputting an analog signal.
IMG_20240318_162646_471.jpg

And in front there is a balanced output at 4.4, and a standard 3.5.

IMG_20240318_162622_108.jpg

And the DAC we were given here is probably already familiar to everyone: ESS9038Q2M with a separate operational amplifier SGM8262.
The output power at high gain is 280 mW at 3.5, and as much as 1100 mW for the balanced output 4.4, so it will swing your in-ear and full-size headphones easily and with a very large margin and excellent control, so you don’t even have to worry about it here, and I advise you right away switch to high gain because even then the amplifier remains only slightly warm even after long sessions, so we get a lot more power, although the first time I got it I only listened to it at low gain, and even then it drive without problems even planar headphones with a large margin.
Well, of course, the DAC works without problems and is detected on Windows, MAC OS, Android, and iOS no additional drivers need to be installed for it everything is picked up automatically.

How about sound?
And now, friends, let's talk about the most important thing, namely the sound of this device, which has excellent measurements, which can be found in more detail on the official website of Fosi Audio. I will specifically leave links in the description so as not to waste time analyzing all this now
And I’d better start with the fact that I tested with it both various planar in-ear headphones and hybrid and dynamic full-size headphones in different price categories!
Since it offers us excellent transparency and excellent localization with a wide stereo panorama with literally crystal clarity and outstanding resolution in no way inferior to my Topping g5, and its frequency response is absolutely linear in measurements, as it should be on modern sources, I hope you agree with me!
And the overall sound signature here does not feel analogue softened and warm, but has a strong bias towards that same cold monitor quality, which I very much approve of.
And I can absolutely say that this amplifier does not try to bring anything of its own into the signal and it has absolutely what it should have: a neutral, honest sound signature with good technique and highlighted attacks, without any brightness or additional warmth, that is, again, like me and said in previous reviews of DAC amplifiers, everything here will depend on your headphones that you are going to connect to this excellent and most importantly powerful source, since it will allow you to use planar headphones such as LETSHUOER S15 or Hidizs MP145 without problems and they will sound very correct on it with amazing control and technicality and in terms of attacks and transient processes, there will also be complete order here, but what can we say about hybrid headphones, which also open up as expected and this DAC does not constrain at all and does not try to blur the sound of the headphones in some super magical way, which is especially cool to hear from some audiophiles, I hope you understand what I'm getting at.

My conclusion on this dac:
Fosi Audio Sk02 is an excellent, very high-quality DAC for a small and pleasant price, with amazing power and the most mature neutral sound, all you have to do next is find good headphones and enjoy the music, and my reviews will help you with choosing headphones.

Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we’ll talk about amazing hybrid headphones from Tangzu and this model is called Nezha!

And they come in a very large stylishly designed box and it seems to me that their designer has literally outdone himself and done his best, after all, this is their debut model!
IMG_20240311_142738_491.jpg

And the sound here is reproduced by a powerful combination of 6 armature drivers along with one electrostatic driver for better reproduction of high frequencies, the sensitivity is 106dB, and they have a fairly low impedance 16 ohms, and I’ll say right away that the headphones are quite light for drive!
IMG_20240311_142718_868.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
IMG_20240311_143439_373.jpg

And here we get very beautiful headphones that are made of very smooth medical resin, have a 2-pin connector next to which there is a single small compensation hole, and there is the inscription NEZHA on both headphones with the channel marking.
IMG_20240311_143813_265.jpg
IMG_20240311_143912_977.jpg

And as for me, the headphones look simply excellent from a design point of view due to this red flame complemented by emblems, and I like that they have that signature and even more improved Tangzu style and, as for me, every time they pay special due attention and approach to the design of the front panels and I very much approve of this.
Well, the sound guide here is standard, it is neat, slightly elongated and has a very clear edge so that the ear pads cling here reliably, and it fulfills its function 100% since the fit and comfort are generally in order; the headphones sit in the ears very comfortably and without discomfort none despite the fact that this model is quite large.
IMG_20240311_143900_634.jpg
IMG_20240311_143846_153.jpg

And I used these branded high-quality tangzu sancai balanced tips with headphones, and there is also this wider option, that is, they give us a really good choice those that are narrower give a good boost of low frequencies, and those that are wide have a more open sound, so there is somewhere to roam here.

Accessories!

IMG_20240311_143543_521.jpg

And of course they didn’t forget about the cable, it’s very high quality, made of oxygen-free copper with silver plated, has 2-pin connectors, and the ability to install both a balanced 4.4 jack plug and a regular 3.5 jack, in general the cable is really excellent and convenient and you don’t even have to change it to something else!
IMG_20240311_143949_185.jpg
IMG_20240311_144029_287.jpg

IMG_20240311_144044_794.jpg

It looks great together with headphones.
IMG_20240311_144236_103.jpg

But that’s not all, they also decided to pamper us with this large branded Tangzu leather case, with a gold zipper, and you can put both headphones and a player here as it is very roomy, although of course it’s not small you definitely won’t be able to hide it in your pocket haha!
IMG_20240311_143708_807.jpg
IMG_20240311_143746_718.jpg

IMG_20240311_143720_189.jpg
IMG_20240311_143725_998.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
And now we come to the most important part of the review, namely the analysis of the sound of these amazing headphones, which I could literally talk about for hours.
And I think it’s worth starting with the fact that the tuning and concept of adjusting the sound of this model is, first of all, tailored as much as possible for true audiophiles, and yes, this is exactly what I expected to see from tangzu, since if we remember their excellent success in creating other models, such as the latest Fudu Verse 1 which really stood out with their warm and bassy tuning, for example the same real budget killers Tangzu Waner, or for example, maybe you still remember the original Zetian Wu which immediately became a real planar hit where it became immediately clear that yes, these guys definitely understand how to properly tune headphones and understand what will really be in demand among audiophiles in different price categories.
And I also believe that all the success of their models was absolutely justified, they did not have any incomprehensible risky fun settings with very different and not obvious tuning, but on the contrary, a very clear goal was immediately visible to which they were going all this time
, so friends, I paid maximum attention when listening to these headphones to share my thoughts with you, since there really is something to talk about here.
IMG_20240304_123946_686.jpg

And I’ll say right away that the tuning of this model is very balanced, there is no distortion here either in the bloated basshead low frequencies, or, for example, in the bright tiring presentation or dark presentation.

Low Frequencies:
And despite the use of an armature driver at low frequencies, there is a very surprising volume and weight and depth, and a vigorous punch in the mid bass that is not lost, and the texture is also in perfect order, the kick here is very clearly visible in the mix and has a clear highlighted attack and delineation which cannot please.
And the saturation and harmonics of low frequencies are very clearly audible and there is no feeling of blurred image of low frequencies or some kind of strange dryness and constriction as I have encountered in other armature headphones.
Yes, the bass, of course, in any case, differs from the dynamic emitter in its character, but I have no questions about its quality of impact and density, since it is presented dynamically with a very distinct and, most importantly, not smeared attack, which is complemented by a very long, accurate decay.

Mid Frequencies:
But at mid frequencies, these headphones are just real dominators, I haven’t seen such weight and very natural elaboration of instruments and vocal parts for a long time, the vocals are perceived as so voluminous, as if a 3D effect is perceived here, that at first I was extremely unusual from such a very rare and more interesting super enticing delivery, with vocals being more clearly brought forward and with a more transparent feel and its better overtone development than other armature headphones.
And the preserved energy and emotionality that was emphasized here on the drums with their crazy attacks simply cannot but delight every time I listen, literally no matter what I turn on, no matter what day I play music from my playlist, I just literally immerse myself in this insanely dynamic atmospheric cheerful a feed that does not give any fatigue or tiredness at all
since there is no brightness or intrusiveness of this area as is the case among other headphones, that is, if my favorite planar set Letshuoer s15 delivers this area more calmly and neutrally, then the Tangzu Nezha is the real opposite of them, which definitely pleased me since I have two different sound signatures at hand I think it's very cool.
High Frequencies:
The completion of this whole large-scale mesmerizing picture is the high frequencies, which here, due to the use of an electrostatic driver, turned out to be very long, super natural and detailed, with an insane amount of air and transparency in this area, just the way I like it.
Therefore, cymbals and various percussion micro and macro details are all here literally in the palm of your hand, not a single aftersound or slightest residual trail or overtone will disappear from your field of vision, and I would call it this way: you literally own this range, which is so well developed here which literally drives me crazy at first, and I’m even afraid to imagine those people who are planning or switching to such headphones from something more budget-friendly since even I am already a very experienced listener who has long been in the whole audio topic, these headphones amazed me with this extremely pleasant and truly audiophile, most importantly, mature presentation that I had been looking for for a long time, yes, of course, I sometimes came across something similar, but as soon as I got to In comparison, no, everything was very different there.

Stage and stereo panorama:
Here, with this, there is generally complete order, just a real wall of sound is being built in front of us, an insane and not limited in width sound stage, and the elaboration of the depth perfectly depicts that various instruments, drums, and what is most important, everything here sounds as separate as possible and there is absolutely no feeling of constriction here or closedness, each synthesizer or any individual sound is perceived very clearly in space and is localized no problems arise at all with determining the location of anything.

My conclusion on this headphones:
Tangzu Nezha are emotional and super driving hybrid headphones with a very mature audiophile presentation and competent, completely non-tiring tuning, and personally, every time I listen to them, they give only real true and those very necessary positive emotions that everyone probably loves to receive, these are one of those headphones that I highly recommend everyone give it a listen.

Well, at the back there are two graphs of the frequency response, namely Harman 2019 and their branded Simgot 2023 target.
And here a dynamic driver with a second-generation lithium-magnesium diaphragm is responsible for the sound, and their sensitivity is very high - 123 dB, and they have an impedance of 21 ohms, so the headphones are very easy to drive.
IMG_20240307_140408_459.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
IMG_20240307_140345_618.jpg
IMG_20240307_140329_891.jpg

And here we get headphones that are made of metal and at the same time they are very smooth and tactilely pleasant, but they still collect fingerprints a little and they can even be scratched, so be careful with them, they look strict but I like them and how the two logos on the headphones complement this well branded Simgot concept.
IMG_20240307_140453_914.jpg

And here the name of the model EA500LM is also written, and on the inside of the case, next to the medium-sized gold sound guide, there is a marking of the right and left channels, as well as a hole for compensation and an additional block with a screw.
IMG_20240307_140526_375.jpg
IMG_20240307_140546_486.jpg

And with the fit like the original EA500, everything is fine here, the headphones sit in your ears very comfortably and reliably, so you can even move somewhere while listening to music without any problems.

Accessories!
All the accessories are in two boxes.
Namely, instructions, a quality certificate, a leather case, a set of ear tips.

IMG_20240307_140717_343.jpg

And the included cable that we have already seen but with SIMGOT EM6L headphones, it also received 2 pin connectors, and a standard 3.5 jack plug, the cable is well made and it is convenient, but it gets a little tangled, keep this in mind.
IMG_20240307_140804_308.jpg
IMG_20240307_140813_400.jpg

IMG_20240307_140834_021.jpg
IMG_20240307_140748_787.jpg

We also get replaceable nozzles and these colored rings, for those who like to slightly adjust the tuning of their headphones, but I’ll say right away that this time I listened with the complete nozzle that comes out of the box, namely gold, and I didn’t install any additional filters!
IMG_20240307_140900_757.jpg

How do these headphones sound?

And now we come to the most important part of the review, namely the analysis of the sound of the SIMGOT EA500LM dynamic headphones.
And it’s worth saying that the general concept of sound that Simgot still adhere to here has essentially not changed much it can be seen on the graph.

IMG_20240304_123946_6386.jpg

They did not conduct any global new experiments, but on the contrary, they got down to business seriously and corrected minor previous shortcomings of the original EA500.
Namely, they tightened up the low frequencies and improved the mids due to which now this model has a more U-shaped sound signature with a slightly shifted emphasis on the upper mids, but now this is not as obvious as it was with the ea500, since the bass is now noticeable and more noticeable rumbles and does not allow the mid frequencies to dominate and tire so clearly, although even if it does not completely compensate for them, it is clear that they did not have the goal of making a basshead model out of these headphones, so in this case, everything here is designed correctly and corresponds to their target Simgot 2023, and this is certainly not a neutral and overly warm model in presentation, but all lovers of brighter, perky and energetic headphones will certainly appreciate their tuning!

Low Frequencies:
Since, compared to the original, the bass here is now perceived much better, it is more massive and punchy, it has much more weight and due to this, the kick now sounds more weighty and full and is not as easily presented as it was in the original, and is also more pronounced I like the attack here much more due to which the bass is very clearly visible in the mix and doesn’t sound like it’s smeared and sloppy on impact, on the contrary, here we have a very attack-focused and more accurate mid-punch bass punch, which is what is required from dynamic headphones, and I hope you agree with me on this matter, but of course, serious bassheads who are already accustomed to more inflated and accentuated low frequencies will probably have to pass by, after all, Simgot set themselves a different goal in tuning, but I’m sure all the other guys will appreciate the more impactful and weighty component of the low frequencies in this update!
Mid Frequencies:
But the mids are exactly what I expected to get from simgOt, here you have super transparency and clarity with a slight warm tonal bias and a very airy and open sound that immediately catches your attention from the first listen.
And this range here feels really insanely refined and super energetic with a slightly light midrange presentation compared to other more expensive headphones, but I haven’t seen such a general presentation for a long time among dynamic headphones that came across in recent reviews, there is no tightness of excessive harshness and insight of the vocal part, and I am pleased with the not at all tiring and correctly designed female and male vocals, which cause me only delight and pleasant emotions every time you listen, and quite natural timbres and sophisticated and weighty instruments are very well revealed here as for dynamic headphones.
And the kick drums still show themselves just fine; they are a little more highlighted than they were in the original, but revealed in all their glory they have a very clear and even more highlighted attack, complemented by a very long aftersound and a neat decay from the reverberation trail.

High Frequencies:
But the high frequencies, as in previous simgot models, are presented here as super detailed, emphasized, and I would even say moderately crispy with some kind of crazy analytics and technicality, and the way various nuances and details are drawn in the music surprises every time you listen Therefore, these headphones are ideal for in-depth analysis of literally any of your favorite tracks as they literally take it apart and you can easily separate all the instruments, various synthesizer and live sounds without any strain!
And therefore this model is perfect even for working and mixing music, and now heavier genres are revealed much better here, and they cope with something lighter without any problems at all, not to mention orchestral or classical music, in general, these dynamic headphones make me happy I was surprised and at the same time I was pleased that the Simgots retained here the same corporate character that was in previous models, and it is especially worth highlighting the EA1000 since in my opinion they most closely resemble this model.

Stage and stereo panorama:
It turned out to be very wide and, most importantly, it feels super open, there is both an excellent stereo panorama and its elaboration and an equally excellent depth of immersion and a bewitching portrayal of each individual instrument, and they very much reminded me of my open full-size headphones due to this large amount of air and effect openness when everything literally breathes.
My conclusion on this headphones:
Simgot EA500LM are very technical, super detailed and simply insanely analytical dynamic headphones that have not lost their signature energetic and very cheerful character that we have encountered in other models of this company, I would especially highlight the EA1000 because they reminded me very much of their presentation of mid and high frequencies, therefore I confidently recommend these headphones to everyone, especially those who are looking for something not very expensive and with one driver.

SIVGA SO2 review by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Excellent build quality and comfort
Very neutral smooth tuning
Much better bass compared to S01
Textural and punchy mid bass
Mids are neutral and not fatiguing
High frequencies are quite long lasting and have good detail and transparency
The sound stage is good in width and depth for headphones of this type
Cons: Not the loudest, especially on the street.
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we will look at wireless headphones from the company Sivga and this is their new model SO2, which replaced the SO1.I will also compare this new product with them!
The headphones come in a small box with a very simple design on the front there are images of the headphones themselves and the name of this model.

IMG_20240229_154157_023.jpg

And here are the technical characteristics of the headphones and one dynamic driver with a diameter of 14.2 mm is responsible for the sound, whereas the SO1 had a driver with a diameter of 16.2 mm. It turns out interesting, yes.
IMG_20240229_154148_467.jpg

And the sensitivity here also decreased to 106 dB, as well as the impedance, which is now 16 ohms, while in SO1 the sensitivity was 117dB, and the impedance was 18 ohms and they played noticeably louder.
Bluetooth is the same 5.3, in this regard, nothing has changed and the headphones can also work with both Android and Apple devices without any problems and received support for the aac and sbc codecs, and the maximum operating time is also indicated here, namely 10 hours at medium volume that is, they added an hour of time to us here, and they charge faster in just an hour and a half.

Let's take a look at what's included!
IMG_20240229_154237_313.jpg

And the first thing we are greeted with is a very large and detailed manual for using and setting up headphones in many languages, which is very important!
Well, this is what this excellent black case looks like, weighing 74 grams versus the more noticeable 92 of SO1, and on the front there is also a Sivga logo and at the bottom there is a very small indicator that shows the battery charge level, if it is less than 20% then it says red, if from 20 to 95% it is yellow, and if it is more than 95% then it is green, and at the back there is also a port for charging usb type c with this included cable.
IMG_20240229_154259_050.jpg
IMG_20240229_154319_608.jpg

IMG_20240229_154634_009.jpg

And inside this case there are headphones, and here, unlike SO1, there are no digital displays, that is, you won’t be able to see the charge level of the case itself.

IMG_20240229_154415_791.jpg

And the headphones themselves look great in my opinion, and you can also choose the white version if you like it more, and by the way, I like them even more than the SO1, they are not so large, and they are designed somehow more elegantly due to this insert with the Sivga logo and a small white LED that blinks, and the plastic here is more matte so they don’t collect fingerprints at all!
IMG_20240229_154503_812.jpg

And on the inside of the earphone there is a very noticeable marking of the right and left channels and a mesh under which there is already that same driver with a diameter of 14.2 mm, and it is also worth saying that there are quite a lot of different acoustic holes on the body that play an important role.
IMG_20240229_154518_679.jpg

Well, the hook here, unlike the SO1, cannot be rotated and is essentially fixed only in one position, but despite this, the fit here is excellent the headphones fit quite tightly to the ear and I did not have any problems during use.

How do these headphones sound?
Now friends, let’s better talk about the sound of these headphones, and believe me, I have something to tell you, to be honest, I’m surprised, since in the last review of SO1 my only complaint was the lack of bass, that is, here we are not talking about some kind of prohibitive bassheading, but just at least about the audible depth of sub-bass notes and a greater sense of impact in the mid-bass, and after that review I reported this to the manufacturer!
Low Frequencies:
And yes, they were able to correct this probably as much as possible due to the form factor and design of these headphones, of course, this is still not the bass that I am used to in in-ear headphones and its image is felt differently and there is no talk of super bassheadness, but however, now the headphones sound more balanced and not so flat, the bass has really tightened up, sub-bass notes have become audible and the midbass, along with a more defined kick, has become more weighty and percussive, this made me very happy, due to the fact that the bass was tightened, the texture also improved and there is no obvious muddiness or boominess here, and the bass tone feels quite warm.
Mid Frequencies:

The fact that the mid frequencies have been corrected here in comparison with SO1 is respect for this, they are now presented just as I like, neutrally evenly and neatly without unnecessary accents in the upper mid area without shrill vocals, and here there is quite both drive and not the lost emotionality of the same guitars, although obvious aggression in heavier genres may not be enough for some, but on the contrary, I approve of such a calm and not harsh presentation where there is an excellent feeling of the warm tone of the vocal part and quite sufficient transparency and air.
High Frequencies:
And at high frequencies the situation here is exactly the same, a very neutral, calm, smooth approach to tuning, with quite detailed cymbals and detailed percussion, and their duration is quite good, so the decays here do not end abruptly and sound very long, and to me I liked that there is no excessive amplification of this area, as happens in bright headphones, so there are no sibilants or resonances here, even in audio material that is far from the best recorded.
My conclusion on this headphones:
SIVGA SO2 turned out to be excellent, very comfortable wireless headphones with a very pleasant and neutral tuning.

CCA RHAPSODY review of hybrid headphones by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Quite nice looking
It is possible to customize the sound using switches that work well
Excellent weight and depth of sub bass notes
Detailed texture at low frequencies
Mids are punchy and slightly brighter
Very clearly emphasized attacks and transients on the drums, yeah that good
High frequencies have musical tuning without any excessive brightness and enhancement of this area
There is moderate technicality and analytics
The sound stage, although not super wide, has excellent depth, and there is good plane definition and image separation.
Cons: Not the best packaging and a completely ordinary cable, which also gets tangled.
They have a noticeable armature timbre in the midrange
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we’ll talk about a new hybrid product from CCA and their model is called Rhapsody!

The headphones come in a very small black box where there is only the company logo, and the technical characteristics of this model are indicated on the side, and these headphones received 2 dynamic drivers with a diameter of 8 mm, and 4 armature drivers, and the sensitivity is 102 dB, and they received a impedance from 15 to 20 ohm.
IMG_20240221_134817_914.jpg
IMG_20240221_134912_708.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And here everything is actually simple, we get headphones that look pretty good to me, although the metal front panel is easily soiled and collects fingerprints, and has a large hole with a mesh, and the inscription Rhapsody on both headphones.

IMG_20240221_134933_565.jpg
IMG_20240221_135011_491.jpg

And the inner panel here is made of translucent resin and through it you can very clearly see the dynamic drivers and small reinforcements here, there are no holes for compensation as such that we are used to here, so I have seen a small vacuum effect with some ear pads, but it is not so scary and it is quite easy to fix with the right selection of eartips.
IMG_20240221_135104_523.jpg

And on the side there is a block with switches, in general there is something to play with here, but in reality I think you, like me, will set them once in one position and will not touch them again.
IMG_20240221_135035_770.jpg

But it’s worth saying that there is a 2-pin connector installed here, and unfortunately it is not recessed into the case as is usually the case, so you still have to pick up a cable here.

Accessories!
Because the included cable here is completely standard in the Kz style, and I think this is not the first time you’ve seen it, I advise you to immediately change it to something more interesting, yes, it has a microphone and qdc connectors, but it also smells terrible, so it’s probably better don't even get it, that's my advice haha.
IMG_20240221_135225_478.jpg

There is also exactly 1 bag of black silicone ear tips and instruction!
IMG_20240221_135139_325.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let's talk about the sound of these headphones.
And here is a very interesting picture, the tuning here is designed in the Harman style, this is not the first time we have seen this, there is also a very good emphasis on low frequencies with a fairly smooth approach to the mid frequencies and a slightly more raised emphasis on the upper middle, but it is small, but personally, I feel it, and the high frequencies here are designed quite well they are long and slightly emphasized with a very small compensation hole, and in general, surprisingly, the headphones are very close to my near neutral target, which pleased me =)
graph(1).png

Low Frequencies:
At low frequencies, this model demonstrates a very good and peppy rise of 10 dB if you turn the first two switches up, we get excellent weight and depth of sub-bass notes, which is complemented by midbass with a very pronounced punch and a characteristic attack, albeit not the most clearly defined impulse, and the texture here may not be record-breakingly transparent, but at least the bass doesn’t sound muddy and too relaxed when hit, and the saturation and distortion of the guitars are quite easily conveyed and in the end there is no feeling that something was not told to us here, and the bassheads are already They may well consider purchasing this model.
Mid Frequencies:
The mids here are presented as very energetic with normal, not excessive transparency and air, and feel slightly dry and have a slight lightness in the lower mids, and it’s worth saying that there is a noticeable armature timbre, especially noticeable in vocals, I personally immediately noticed this attention.
But on the plus side, there are quite emphasized transients and attacks that clearly stand out on drums due to the strengthening of the upper mid region, and although the low frequencies compensate for it, I personally would like to get less emphasis on it and make this area a little more neutral, but this is already It’s purely my taste, since I know that fans of brighter settings also read my reviews, so I’m sure they will be happy in this case, and the tuning will be very familiar to them.

High Frequencies:
High frequencies here are a musical and have very correct approach to tuning where there is no super excessive brightness and what I call pseudo detailing due to the strengthening of this area, there is also moderate technicality and, albeit not the most noticeable, but not lost bias in analytics, due to which we we have better separation of cymbals and percussion in this range where nothing blends into one , and everything in the end sounds very readable with good detail and sparkle at the cymbals and long aftersounds, and the very duration of the high frequencies here was surprising, finally there is no such decline after 8 or 10 kHz as often happens even with expensive hybrid headphones!
Stage and stereo panorama:
In Rhapsody it is not super wide and quite close and slightly intimate for the vocal part in terms of location, so there is no feeling like in the same Hidizis MP145 or Letshuer S15 that you are listening to open full sizes headphones, but nevertheless the depth is not bad, and the drawing of plans and the images are not particularly simplified for this cost, everything is quite separated and there are no problems with determining the sound source.
My conclusion on this headphones:
Cca Rhapsody turned out to be an interesting inexpensive hybrid headphone with the ability to tune the sound using switches on the body and the presentation of the headphones, although bright, is quite rich and dynamic with massive bass.

I have Rhapsody.
If this IEM is 4.5 stars - most of other IEMs should be totally off the scale. Devalued/degrading reviewing of free samples (?) Is a big menace (??)
For HeadFi to remain any credible - the reviewers should be governed by the same rules as the "Members of the Trades".

This iem deserves 4,5 stars. Sounds correct and engaging with all of my music. There is nothing wrong, maybe some may want less bass. Notice that kz castor silver has 5 star here.

Simgot DEW4X review of dac by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Very compact and lightweight
Almost does not heat up
Dual DAC Ciruss Logic 43198
DSD 256 / 32 bit 384khz
There is support for game consoles in UAC 1.0 mode
Powerful and capable of driving all of my in-ear headphones without issue, including heavier full-size dynamic headphones
It looks very stylish and fresh, I like its design
Sounds neutral and does not change the sound of your headphones
Has a very mature and technical amazing sound
High-level attacks and transients
Cons: For me there are no downsides, it performs its function perfectly, but what else is required of it? Just enjoy it!
Introduction!
Hello friends!
I welcome everyone, today in the review we will look at an excellent DAC from the SIMGOT company!
It comes in a very small box with a chrome effect, and here is the name that it received, namely DEW4X.
IMG_2328.jpg

And on the back it says what kind of DAC they gave us!
This is a dual Cirrus Logic 43198, it has support for DSD 256, it reproduces up to 32bit 384 kHz, and the output power is 70x2 mW at 3.5, and 150x2 mW for the balanced output, and I’ll say right away that despite these values, it rocks all my headphones easily with good reserve, of course, if we are not talking about some heavy full-size planars, then of course you will need a different source and I think everyone already knows this, but for in-ear headphones and dynamic full-size headphones, the reserve here is very large, especially at high gain levels.
Well, another interesting thing is that it can be used with some game consoles in UAC 1.0 mode.

IMG_2327.jpg

And of course, the DAC works without problems and is detected on Windows, MAC OS, Android, and iOS, no drivers need to be installed, although if there was an ASIO driver it would be great, but otherwise you can do without it.
Let's take a look at what's included!
And here everything is actually simple, we get the capacitor itself, a very good complete braided cable with the inscription Simgot on both connectors, and small instructions in two languages.
IMG_2331.jpg

IMG_2332.jpg

The DAC itself looks great in my opinion, it has a pure black body color and has a large X logo and a very small inscription DEW4X here.
It’s worth saying that it is made of aircraft-grade aluminum alloy, so it is very light and as compact as possible and weighs only 24 grams.

IMG_2333.jpg

And here is an input for connecting the supplied usb type c cable which you can connect it to either a smartphone or a computer using this supplied adapter!
IMG_2337.jpg

And at the other end there are two outputs, a gold-plated balanced 4.4 and a standard 3.5 jack for connecting headphones.

IMG_2338.jpg

And this is what the bottom panel looks like =)
IMG_2336.jpg

And on the side there are two buttons with a characteristic click that increase or decrease the volume, and if you press two at once, we will switch the gain level and in order to switch to high and make sure that everything worked, just connect it to your smartphone and if the LED inside lights up blue then this means that the gain level is set to high, but if you press the buttons it will switch to low and change color to green.
IMG_2335.jpg

And by the way, what’s also important is that it always saves your last volume, so there won’t be a problem with when you connect your dac and headphones and it shoots sharply in your ears haha, I think many people have had this happen, so there’s no such problem here.
How about sound?
And now, friends, let's talk about the most important thing, namely the sound of this device, and as I expected, everything is very good here and the DAC essentially does not contribute anything of its own to the signal, it sounds as adult as possible and correctly, not inferior to my Topping g5, simgot has exactly the same the same neutral absolutely monitor slightly warm sound signature, without any additional amplification and emphasis of both low mids and high frequencies.
But everything is as usual, it will depend on your headphones that you will connect to it, and since it is very powerful, planar in-ears for it are exactly what you need, I listened to the Letshuoer s15 and Hidizs mp145, and Simgot Ea1000/EA500 and Em6L, and I’ll say even more over the last few days, I’ve been using only this DAC, and I was completely satisfied because it copes with them generally perfectly and doesn’t at all hide or spoil the overall sound signature of these models!
And here there is absolutely excellent control over all frequencies even at high volumes, no blurring of attacks, on the contrary, they are very clear and distinct and the transients are excellent, and there is only excellent separation and good edge development. Including hybrid models, but I would advise buying headphones for at least about the same price as your source, as this will be the most rational solution.

My conclusion on this dac:
SIMGOT DEW4X is an excellent, super compact small DAC amplifier, with very good power and the correct and most natural adult and super transparent sound, and it left me with only positive impressions, I highly recommend it for purchase!

Hidizs Mp145 review of planar headphones by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Luxurious equipment and excellent manufacturing quality of the headphones.
Comfortable fit and ergonomics
There are 3 modes for adjusting the settings by changing the nozzle.
Super detailed and technical set literally own music
Very correct and competent tuning
The lows are super precise and lush, very transparent and rich in texture.
The mids are very clean and airy and have very correct timbres
High frequencies true analytics and unrivaled detail
The soundstage is insanely wide and has amazing depth just immerse yourself in this wonderful world of sounds
Cons: No, this a real planar leader at this price get ready to fly into space with this set!
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in our review we will look at a new planar product from Hidizs.
The headphones come in a fairly small box with a nice design and a picture of the headphones on the front, and there is also the Hidizs brand logo, the name of this model MP145 and the hi-res audio logo here in the corner.
IMG_2267.jpg

Well, here, as always, the technical characteristics are indicated and a planar driver with a diameter of 14.5 mm is responsible for the sound, and the sensitivity is 104dB, and they received a 30ohm impedance, the headphones are not very hard for driving.

IMG_2269.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
IMG_2270.jpg

And first of all, we are greeted here by headphones made entirely of metal in a dark blue color in my case, and in my opinion they look quite unusual and good in their own way, the front panel here has a design that imitates the tail of a whale and there are two side holes for compensation.
IMG_2273.jpg

And another one is located on the inside of the case where you can see the markings of the right and left channels and the inscription Hidizs mp145, and of course the connector here is standard, it’s 2pins and it goes exactly flush with the case, which is a plus for me!
IMG_2274.jpg
IMG_2276.jpg

But the nozzle here is quite wide and has the ability to install various filters from the kit; we will look at them a little later, but with the fit, everything is fine here, despite the considerable size of the headphones themselves, they sit in the ears very tightly and there are no problems with sound insulation.

Accessories!
In terms of accessories, in my opinion, everything is generally super, there is this black case made under leather, inside of which there is an excellent, lightweight, especially tangle-free cable with 2-pin connectors and a balanced 4.4-pin plug, as I chose when ordering!
IMG_2257.jpg
IMG_2261.jpg

IMG_2262.jpg
IMG_2264.jpg

And there is also this set of replaceable filters: silver for those who like a brighter setting, red for those who like a very neutral presentation of mid frequencies, and copper for those who like a more balanced sound, I used it when listening to headphones.
IMG_2260.jpg

Well, that’s not all, friends, probably we should give special respect to such a good organizer with a bunch of ear pads for every taste and color.

IMG_2252.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let's talk about the sound and look at the graph of these headphones in comparison with the Letshuoer S15 and I will probably be the only one who compared them together, and in general their frequency response is very similar, that is, at low frequencies and at high frequencies, but in the upper middle The S15 will definitely be smaller, this can be heard by ear when comparing these headphones, but in any case, both models are very close to my target, which makes me happy.
график(5).png

Low Frequencies:
I’ll start, as always, with an analysis of low frequencies, and since this is a planar driver, the bass in these headphones slaps and hits just as it should, this is the most concentrated and accurate very textured blow with a soft smooth attenuation, and with transparency and texture reproduction, everything is generally excellent here!
Mid Frequencies:
But what also pleased me was how they did a very good job of revealing the middle d
range, the MP145 simply feels some kind of crazy airiness and transparency with an excellent and maximally developed legible space in which the instruments are not lost at all, and the analytics in this area surprise every time I listen and I can easily divide literally the entire composition into separate layers be it a heavy metal track or something lighter and calmer, such as some kind of ambient.

And the vocal part here has excellent weight and is very clearly brought forward along with the percussion drum part, and I think this voice production is already familiar to many and there will definitely be its connoisseurs, since the vocals here are revealed to be very well articulated and very emphasized in timbre, and the drums have the most accurate emphasized transients and leave behind very long trails of reverberation, in my opinion, the presentation of this area is excellently revealed precisely from the technical and at the same time very immersive pleasant musical side, although this area is presented a little more energetically and fervently than in s15.
High Frequencies:
The high frequencies are just a godsend, here you have an excellent long expansion, but already with slightly more extended and accented detail on the plates than in the S15, and tonally this area feels colder and I would even say monitor with very good percussion playback clarity, various clicks, calls and micro-details and the resolution in this range and the study of the plates themselves and their plumes is at a very high level, and the presentation itself may not be as neutral and warm as in s15, but for me it is still very pleasant, not tiring, and without any obvious hints of sibilance, planar rustling or pretentious fake resolution, that is, to summarize, everything here sounds very harmonious and at the same time, only positive emotions remain after especially long listening sessions.
Yes, and in terms of genres, as for me, there are no restrictions here, these are very technical and analytical headphones, so they are perfect for heavy, high-speed genres that require quick hitting, but something easier, of course, they reproduce without any problems at all, the only thing you should understand is that due to this, the headphones are quite demanding on the quality of recording material.

Stage and stereo panorama:
And of course, the sound stage is also in complete order here, and these headphones really reminded me of my open full-size headphones Zeus Elite, there is a very good well-developed width here, and the depth of immersion is at an excellent level, as is the drawing of individual plans and images.
My conclusion on this headphones:
Hidizs Mp145 turned out to be excellent planar headphones with a very technical and mature sound presentation and are ideal for all musical genres, as well as for everyone who often asks questions in the comments like which headphones to choose to get a noticeable increase in sound quality, I can definitely recommend.
These are planar headphones because in my opinion they play too well for this price and to then go a few notches higher you will have to pay two or even three times as much, so in this price range it will definitely be be a great choice.

HarmonicDyne Black Hole review of dynamic headphones by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Excellent build quality and comfort
Very good complete cable with adapter for 6.3 jack
Nice warm neutral tone
Amazing textured powerful and deep bass
Very detailed and neutral mids
The upper mids are not bright or tiring, the vocal part and drums are well revealed.
High frequencies are quite detailed although not too accentuated
The sound stage is wide and well-developed depth
Probably the best over-ear headphones under $100
Cons: Slightly darkened treble response
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Friends, welcome everyone, today in our review we’ll talk about full-size headphones from the Harmonicdyne company worth $100!
And these headphones come in a very large box with a rather nice design, there is an image of the headphones themselves, the name of this model Black Hole and the company logo.
IMG_2120.jpg

And here, as usual, the technical characteristics of the headphones are indicated and a fifty-millimeter dynamic driver is responsible for the sound, the sensitivity is 110 dB and they have an impedance of 32 ohms, and I’ll immediately say that the headphones are not very heavy for driving and even inexpensive DAC amplifiers cope with them without problems.
And it also says here what is included in the package which we will talk about now and of course we will look at these wonderful headphones.

IMG_2123.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And they look so chic exactly like the previous models of the company and they weigh a little, only 305 g versus 360 g for my favorite Zeus Elite, but in general this black hole model replaced Athena and I think you remember them.
And since these are also semi-open headphones, they play quite loudly outward, but the tuning and overall sound setup, believe me, it is very different from Athens in a positive way.

IMG_2125.jpg

And the plastic here, like the Athena, is of good quality, and there are no questions about the assembly, but the external changes, as for me, have been made here for the better, now there are no such mirrored panels that collect fingerprints as there were on the Athena, but on the contrary, there is a strict and consistent black style due to this matte front panel with the Harmonicdyne logo!
IMG_2127.jpg
IMG_2129.jpg

And this whole dark concept is complemented by two inserts like this with an unusual pattern, just below there is a marking of the right and left channel and above there is the possibility of adjusting the headband where you can also see the serial number of my model, the headband here has not changed and has a very soft insert like and all models have Harmonicdyne.
IMG_2132.jpg
IMG_2136.jpg

Well, the ear pads that are used can already be said to be time-tested by me and they are exactly the same as those of my main Zeus Elite and Athens headphones, I’m glad that they didn’t change them because they are very comfortable, the ears don’t sweat in them, there’s no pressure and no There is no fatigue or desire to take off the headphones.
Accessories!
And the cable here is surprisingly very well made, black braided, does not get tangled, is very flexible and has right and left channel markings on the plugs, and has a 3.5 jack connector with the ability to install an adapter to 6.3 if you need it.
Well, there are also instructions here, although I don’t think anyone reads them now haha.

IMG_2141.jpg
IMG_2142.jpg
IMG_2143.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now friends, let's talk about the sound of these HarmonicDyne Black Hole headphones.
And right from the first listen, the first thing that strikes you is the overall very warm tone of the mid and high frequencies. This model does not go into some kind of excessive monitoring and analyticalness in comparison with the Zeus Elite, and unlike the Athena, it now has a smoother and slightly darker neutral the tone of the high frequencies now does not have that excessive brightness of the cymbals and the obvious metallic color, and due to this the timbres are transmitted more reliably and accurately, but if we talk about that very high-end sound, then I think it’s still worth turning to the Zeus Elites for this, since in my opinion they are precisely its best reflection.
But if you have used Athena before and now want to get a more neutral, calm and slightly dry presentation that even reminds me more of the signature sound of Sennheisers, then I think Black Hole is now definitely your choice!

Low Frequencies:
Especially here it is worth praising the work done on the low frequencies, finally I don’t need to use an equalizer since I have enough of them here, they are super massive with a well-developed texture, powerful weight and volume and a very distinct clear attack, they do not sound relaxed and blurred, and we have a well-defined, clear, elastic bass that sounds even more separate from other frequencies, so fans of hip-hop genres and electronics will now definitely be pleased since the kick here is very well defined and has excellent density.

Mid Frequencies:
And of course, the mid frequencies were not deprived here either, and they were noticeably improved, they are now smoother and more correct with better and more reliable transmission of timbres.
And it is especially worth highlighting how the vocal part and instruments are now presented correctly, the vocals themselves are very articulated, legible and clear, and do not sound somehow closed and dull with an intimate location, but on the contrary, occupy a wide focused space, and do not have any excessive brightness and loudness, which is especially important at least for me as a lover of a more neutral and not bright presentation.
And the drums here have quite emphasized transients and a clearly defined attack and leave behind quite long trails of reverberation!

High Frequencies:
And the high frequencies here are presented as very neutral, smooth, without any unnecessary sharpness and additional improvement in detail by enhancing this area, as was done in Athena, and as a result, this range now feels like a very warm and neat, pleasant-to-hear presentation that has a good, albeit not super analytical record resolution from hihats, but now it has received a slightly darker color, due to which there will be a little less air and such obvious technicality, for example, as in Zeus Elite, but unlike Athena, now you don’t have to use an equalizer or adjust anything and you can simply no problem, connect your headphones to the source and immediately enjoy them!
Stage and stereo panorama:
Everything is in order here with the sound stage and stereo panorama, the scene is formed correctly, and the images are drawn quite clearly and in detail, there are no problems with their localization, the depth is at a good and very detailed level.

My conclusion on these headphones:
HarmonicDyne Black Hole turned out to be excellent full-size semi-open headphones with a powerful bass and neutral sound that is pleasant in presentation, but they don’t go much into analytics and monitoring and have more tonally warm musical tuning, but I’m sure fans of such a presentation will definitely be pleased!

EPZ x Tipsy Star One review of dynamic iem by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Great look and comfortable fit
Good balanced musical tuning
Excellent bass with good defined attack
The bass texture is quite transparent and doesn't sound muddy.
The mids are energetic but not fatiguing and open up the vocal part very well.
Upper mids are very detailed on kick drum transients
High frequencies sound pleasant and not tiring, no brightness.
Sound stage is pretty good
Cons: Very small set of accessories and standard cable
Not super technical, but more musical tuning
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we will again talk about purely dynamic headphones, this time from the company EPZ and Tipsy, called Star One and their cost is $89 and they are positioned as monitor and headphones for live broadcasts!
The headphones arrive in a small box with a very interesting design and a lot of text throughout the box.

IMG_2104.jpg
IMG_2101.jpg

And at the back, as usual, the technical specifications are indicated and a 10 mm dynamic driver is responsible for the sound here and the sensitivity is 112 dB and surprisingly, they received a 64 ohm impedance, which is not often found in fact, but despite this, the headphones are quite to drive!
IMG_2103.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And the first thing that greets us are the headphones located here and they are made of medical resin, they are very light and look in this color, for me everything is great, everything shimmers so well, and on the front part on the right earphone there is the EPZ company logo and on the left earphone is located Tipsy logo!
IMG_2105.jpg
IMG_2106.jpg

Well, of course, there is a 2-pin connector installed here, which sticks out a little from the body and next to it there is a marking of the right and left channels, and there is one compensation hole located back and next to it there is the inscription old one, but the nozzle here is not very neat long and not wide, and has a small protrusion so that the ear pads cling more securely!
IMG_2107.jpg
IMG_2108.jpg

And I’ll say right away that everything is fine with the fit, since the headphones are small and fit very tightly in the ears and there are no problems when using them!
Accessories!
Well, from the accessories here we get this very light and fairly standard cable that has 2-pin QDC connectors, that is, with such a skirt, and of course there is a 3.5 Jack plug here too, in general you can use it without problems, but if you want you can always change to any other but preferably with the same connectors, take this into account when buying a new one if you need it.
IMG_2111.jpg
IMG_2112.jpg

IMG_2114.jpg

Well, there is also this small case with the inscription Tipsy and Epz, and one set of white silicone ear tips!
IMG_2115.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let's talk about the sound of these dynamic Star One headphones, and based on the graph we see a fairly familiar picture for dynamic headphones, there is a good boost in low frequencies, but of course not for bassheads, a good approach to the mid frequencies and quite a neat emphasis on the upper frequencies the middle, which is complemented by not too bright and slightly darkened high frequencies due to this hole, but first things first.
graph(31).png

Low Frequencies:
The low frequencies here have good mass and depth, and the sub-bass has a more clearly noticeable subwoofer effect since, after all, there is a dynamic driver and it can work out the low range as expected.
The control here is also excellent, the bass is very well controlled and does not interfere with the mid range, and in general, problems with this are now rarely found except in basshead models, and also the bass here has a very well emphasized attack, so it does not sound excessive relaxed on impact and somehow blurred, and in itself it is transmitted as transparent to the texture and has a cooler rather than warm smooth tone, which for me is a plus.
And the kick sounds clear and distinct here, it perfectly complements the bass with its body and weight, while you can easily separate it from the bass.

Mid Frequencies:
And the mid frequencies here are quite good, they are very transparent and sound open and quite emphasized, there is no feeling of constriction or closedness of this range, on the contrary, as for me, it is here revealed in all its glory and the vocals sound clean and very detailed in the overtones due to the shifted increased emphasis at 3kHz which helps the vocals to be more forward along with the drum part, but is still at a comfortable and pleasant listening level, and the drums here sound surprisingly good, they are emphasized on the attack and perfectly complement the mix with their quite long tails from reverberations.

High Frequencies:
Well, the high frequencies in these headphones are slightly relegated to the background, there is no excessive brightness and clearly emphasized and technical cymbals, and the percussion here is also less accentuated and here, as for me, there is simply a very familiar, more neutral and warm presentation for those who like a little darkened, but if an armature driver had been installed here, I think the result would have been even more interesting and there would have been more air, and from the technical side the model would have played even more interesting.
Stage and stereo panorama:
The scene and visualization in these headphones is quite optimal, not super stretched, there are no obvious problems with constructing plans and drawing images, everything is drawn quite clearly and reliably and there are no problems with separation.
My conclusion on these headphones:

Epz Tipsy Star One turned out to be good dynamic headphones with attacking and textured bass, a pleasant airy midrange and slightly dark but quite long-lasting high frequencies.

Excellent appearance and quality
The accessories are great and the cable is insanely good
Very balanced neutral tone
Textured low frequencies with a clearly defined attack
Mid bass has a precise punch and have punch control is insanely good
The mids are very warm and neatly presented.
High frequencies are smooth and restrained, no brightness or fatigue
The soundstage was very wide, work on it was definitely done correctly
Cons: Not the most technical it has more of a musical tone to the presentation just enjoy it!
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today in the review we’ll talk about purely dynamic headphones from the Tinhifi company, called T5s and their cost is $129 and it’s so interesting that in general they don’t often release new products and as such they usually don’t get the proper hype, but this time it’s like for me they simply outdid themselves and made the successful model with a very comfortable sound.

The headphones arrive in a nicely designed small box with an interesting space design, the name of this model and a small company logo here.
IMG_1981.jpg

And here at the back there is the manufacturer’s address, various data and there are quar codes that can be scanned, it’s a pity the technical specifications are not written here, but don’t worry, I found them, and one dynamic driver with a diameter of 10mm is responsible for the sound, and the sensitivity is 103dB and they received 32ohm impedance, and they are surprisingly a little heavy during to drive, but in general most modern sources can handle them without problems.
IMG_1982.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And the first thing that greets us here are the headphones made of aluminum, so they are light and, to me, generally look super strict and at the same time stylish, since the front panel here received the name of the company tinhifi and at the same time the text shimmers so cool!
IMG_1983.jpg
IMG_1986.jpg

And as usual, there is a 2-pin connector installed here that goes exactly in line with the body and next to it there is the first acoustic hole, and the second is located on the inside of the body almost next to this golden and rather elongated nozzle which has a very good protrusion due to which the ear pads cling here as reliable as possible and therefore the headphones fit in the ears just perfectly, very tightly and comfortably and with sound insulation in general everything is super, you can even install these standard foam tips that come with headphones if you don’t like silicone ones.
IMG_1987.jpg
IMG_1988.jpg

Accessories!
Well, from the accessories here we get tweezers, a brush for cleaning headphones, and here there are two cards.
And the most interesting thing is in this excellent white leather case!

IMG_1991.jpg
IMG_1992.jpg

inside of which, in my opinion, there is a rightfully excellent 4-wire cable, a good set of ear tips, and additional metallic filters!
IMG_1993.jpg
IMG_1996.jpg

The cable has a standard 3.5 jack plug and 2 pin connectors with markings for connecting to headphones, really respect for the cable as it fits perfectly to the headphones and together everything looks harmonious.

IMG_1994.jpg
IMG_1995.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let’s talk about the sound of these Tinhifi T5s headphones, and here’s something neutral and with only one dynamic driver, as for me, the setting here is generally super correct, there is also a boost in low frequencies by as much as 10dB, so there should be enough bass for everyone , and what makes me happy is how they correctly designed the mid frequencies, very carefully approaching 3kHz and with an unusual solution they tidied up the sibilant region from 6 to 8kHz and just as competently compensated for this with a small rise at 9kHz, and the presentation in the end turned out to be literally musically enveloping, but let’s go in order!
график(27).png

Low Frequencies:
Since the low frequencies were increased by 10 decibels, they are presented here as very powerful textured with literally massaging sub-bass with excellent depth, even though this is not even a basshead model, and the midbass here has truly insanely good control and has a very obvious punch and transparent textural elaboration due to which it does not sound monotonous and booming, but on the contrary, it can be clearly heard even separately from a very defined kick.
Well, according to the canons of good dynamic headphones, the bass attack here does not feel relaxed and imposing, and we have a super distinct, clear attack-focused blow, even in my opinion it is definitely not inferior to reinforcement headphones both in quantity and quality of reproduction.

Mid Frequencies:
But the mid frequencies here were set up just like I love the neutral and super comfortable smooth tone of the vocal part, where there is quite a sufficient amount of air and confident transparency due to which not a single instrument or aspect in the music is hidden, but the upper middle just my respect, it’s neat, restrained, with correctly placed accents on the drums, which received a clear and distinct attack, and the after-sounds here are quite confident in duration!
High Frequencies:
Well, I think the high frequencies here are just the perfect ending, they are tuned very warmly and super musically with a slight slight monitor and chill where there is no excessive brightness, but due to this we get a more authentic sound without unnecessary colors and additional resolution and detail as happens in more bright headphones, but they’ve been tidied up a little around the edges, and despite the small hole here on the highs they do not feel dark closed or devoid of life because of this, on the contrary, the resolution here was kept good for us and the cymbals do not sound blurry on attack and somehow dark or closed, and you can even listen to them as heavy without any problems genres and something light because here it is the most comfortable and non-tiring presentation in the evening, which for me is just the thing to just relax after a hard day when nothing distracts you and just gently allows you to enjoy the composition!
Stage and stereo panorama:
But the stage is just my respect in these headphones, it turned out to be very wide with excellent immersion in depth and excellent depiction of the images of instruments, everything really sounds very clear and verified in space, the images are not blurred or lost anywhere, you can easily separate everything from each other.
My conclusion on these headphones:
Tinhifi T5s turned out to be excellent dynamic headphones that simply surprised me and made me fall in love with them from the first listening, the most comfortable presentation without any unnecessary accents and harsh analytics, they have a super musical presentation tone for smooth and calm listening, just turn it on and enjoy the music,I think fans of this kind of presentation should definitely appreciate them, and I definitely recommend them.

KiwiEars Orchestra Lite review of hybrid iem by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Excellent neutral tuning
Very nice appearance and excellent comfort
Low frequencies are deep and accurate with good attack
The mids are very accurate and tonally reliable.
The drums have excellent transient response
High frequencies are very detailed and not overly bright
Great detail with crazy analytics
Excellent development of the sound stage, very correct and precise focusing and mastery of all sounds
Cons: Slight vacuum effect with some ear pads, please select them carefully.
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today we’ll talk again about hybrid headphones from the KiwiEars company, called Orchestra Lite and their cost is $249 and this time they are positioned as monitor iems, which is doubly interesting.
They come in a nicely designed small box, there is the model name, the company logo and an image of the headphones themselves.

IMG_1874.jpg

And here on the side the technical characteristics are indicated and a very powerful combination of 8 armature drivers is responsible for the sound, two are responsible for high frequencies, four for medium frequencies, and two more will reproduce low frequencies, and the sensitivity is 112dB and they received 16ohm impedance .

IMG_1878.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And the first thing that greets us here are headphones made of medical resin they have a blue front panel, as I wanted to match my channel design, and they really look very good, and of course, the company logo also has a place here on both headphones!
IMG_1883.jpg
IMG_1882.jpg

And they received a 2-pin connector that goes exactly in line with the body, and it is worth saying that they have absolutely no compensation holes on the body, and the inside is absolutely transparent and there are no problems here, you can see all the stuffing from the armature drivers and even on some drivers you can see markings indicating that it is Knowles and custom KiwiEars.
IMG_1887.jpg

Well, the nozzle here is a little elongated and wide, but it’s anatomically made correctly, so these headphones generally sit in the ears perfectly the fit is as tight as possible, but due to the fact that there are no compensation holes with some ear pads, a small vacuum effect is created, so keep this in mind that you will have to carefully choose the appropriate nozzles for yourself.

Accessories!
Now we come to the accessories, which are in an excellent tight case with the inscription kiwi yars, we already saw it in the previous review of the Forteza basshead headphones, I advise you to look at it.
IMG_1891.jpg
IMG_1893.jpg

And this time there is an excellent 4-core cable that has a 3.5 jack plug, and 2 pin connectors with well-formed ear hooks, that is, you don’t even have to change it and use it without problems, it’s a pity, of course, that there is no option to choose a balanced version for 4.4, which would be absolutely great!
The ear tips here, of course, there are also exactly 3 sets of different tips for every taste and color!

How do these headphones sound?
Now let's talk about the sound of KiwiEars Orchestra Lite and I think for sure that lovers of a more neutral presentation, like me, will be pleased this time, since on the frequency response graph I think it’s immediately clear that we have a very neatly executed neutral model without excessive amplification of low frequencies so is the area of the upper middle, and the high ones at the very edge have been tidied up a little for us and in general I think it’s clear that they are very close to my target, I would even say as close as possible and this makes me happy, but let’s go in order!
graph(16).jpg

Low Frequencies:
Low frequencies here have a gain of 5dB and if you are not a basshead, the amount of bass here should be enough for you, despite the fact that an armature driver is used here, I would not say that because of this it reproduces sub-bass notes worse than dynamic ones, but of course it differs from dynamic driver and already has its own character, but this is not as bad as it could be since there is excellent depth and volume, yes, and the reproduction of texture and neat punch on the mid bass is at a good level, but with control, of course, there are no problems here since the bass does not interfere with the mid frequencies at all and very neatly complements the quite significant lower mids, that is, it is designed correctly here, except that I would like to get a slightly clearer and more focused attack, but in this case then I would have to install a dynamic emitter since I still prefer it in most cases if we are talking about hybrids.
Mid Frequencies:
The mid frequencies in these headphones are very detailed in overtones with a well-defined attack of both instruments and drums and with a correct, albeit not very wide, construction of plans, and they sound quite emotional but a little dry with a clear emphasis on the image of the vocal part, the presentation to the ear is of course pleasant and very familiar to me, something similar I have already seen in other hybrids, only here a warmer and calmer tone is noticeable, that is, this area is transmitted in them without tiring vocals are reproduced here without any rustling or reinforcement overtones and sounds natural with good articulation and legibility, and what I liked is that it does not have any excessive brightness or loudness!
High Frequencies:
And at high frequencies, a good and correct approach to tuning is noticeable here, there is also obvious analytics and that very necessary control over literally everything, and this range is felt as a slightly warm and neat presentation that is pleasant to the ear, having good resolution in the cymbals but without their obvious excessive gain, which in my opinion is correct from the point of view of tuning, although I know someone likes a lighter and more highlighted high area, which seems to give a feeling of better technicality and airiness, but they didn’t do that here and they made a more natural and adult tuning without any additional coloring, which is generally correct from the point of view of monitor headphones, although if the very edge of the high frequencies had been tightened it would have been great.
Stage and stereo panorama:
And as for building a sound stage then everything is in perfect order here, the stage itself is wide and optimal, it has no artificial stretch, it is exactly right and at the same time has a quite good slope in depth, that is, the space and instruments do not feel flat, but on the contrary, they have good weight and volume, and that’s all the images are drawn in great detail and separately from each other.
My conclusion on these headphones:
KiwiEars Orchestra Lite turned out to be excellent headphones primarily for monitoring, and for lovers of a calm and very neutral, non-tiring sound with a good and correct amount of bass, neutral, not bright mids that are simply perfectly complemented by detailed and analytical highs!

KiwiEars Forteza review of hybrid iem by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: Energetic powerful bass
Insanely good bass control for basshead headphones
High-level textural elaboration
Very rich and weighty mids
High frequencies are quite detailed and technical
Very emotional and exciting presentation
Cons: The upper mids are very accentuated, I would like them to be more neutral, but this can be corrected with the help of an equalizer.
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today we’ll talk about hybrid headphones from the KiwiEars company, called Forteza and their cost is $59.
And they come in a nicely designed small box, there is the name of the model, the company logo and an image of the headphones themselves in the blue color that I chose.
IMG_1788.jpg
IMG_1792.jpg

Here on the side the technical characteristics are indicated and the sound here is answered by a combination of two dynamic drivers with a diameter of 10mm, and they are complemented by an armature driver, but the sensitivity is 103dB and they received a standard 32ohm impedance and, of course, they are quite easy for drive.
IMG_1794.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And the first thing that greets us here are the headphones, which in my opinion look very cool considering their low cost, the front panel has a bunch of bright sparkles that also shimmer cool, and the company logo also has a place here, and of course I’m glad that they are made of very pleasant smooth resin and have a turquoise blue color.
IMG_1802.jpg
IMG_1803.jpg

And the inside of the body is transparent, so you can see absolutely all the emitters, whether dynamic or a very small reinforcing one, which is located here and above it a little higher there is one compensation hole and there is a standard 2-pin connector for connecting the cable, but the nozzle here is not very large, slightly elongated but It is anatomically correct, it has a small protrusion and the ear pads hold up perfectly, and the fit is generally good the headphones sit in the ears very tightly and there is no discomfort.
IMG_1806.jpg

Accessories!
Now we come to the accessories, which are in a very good tight case with the inscription KiwiEars, and there is a completely standard 4-wire cable that has a 3.5 jack plug, and 2-pin connectors with well-formed eartips, and of course there are ear tips here too these are 3 different sets for every taste and color.

IMG_1814.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let's talk about the sound of this model and I think for sure that bassheads will be happy, but first things first, I think it’s immediately clear from the frequency response graph that we have a very energetic and super perky pronounced sound, and of course lovers of neutral tuning probably won’t appreciate this, but all the other guys should definitely taste such a dynamic presentation.
graph(13).jpg

Low Frequencies:
Low frequencies definitely occupy almost the main position and they are perceived as very deep the sub-bass here is really very well developed, and the mid-bass for basshead headphones has super correct and precise control without at all interfering with the mid frequencies as it was in the 7Hz legato, although there will be a lot of it here smaller but it has an excellent punch with a characteristic clear attack that definitely makes me happy, that is, it doesn’t feel as relaxed as it did in 7Hz legato and on the contrary, it is very accurate on impact, which, in my opinion, is the correct implementation for basshead headphones, and the textural elaboration here is much better, it is more transparent and the saturation is now even better, due to which the bass does not sound warm and monotonous.
Mid Frequencies:
And the mid frequencies are literally a powerful and energetic substrate for the bass, their energy literally goes over the edge, if in 7Hz legato they were more neutral and softened and closer to my target, here they clearly decided to squeeze the maximum out of this range by adding more saturation and weight to the vocals and the drums, which in some tracks stand out very clearly and are already right on the edge and in some places it was even too much, especially in bad recordings, and of course, due to this, male and female vocals are presented here super richly and surprisingly with quite good resolution and amount of air, that is, there is no constriction or crampedness in this area, but in my opinion it would be better if this area was made more neutral and less highlighted and so it turns out that it won’t be possible to fix it with the same filter as I usually did with headphones that are bright for me, since it simply won’t attach to the nozzle, and you’ll only have one option left, which is to use an equalizer to tidy up this area, but then again It's all a matter of taste.
High Frequencies:
The high frequencies here surprisingly have a very familiar approach to tuning, they feel quite smooth but at the same time have good and more prominent detail with no less hidden technicality and neat long aftertones, although the clear technique here is not at the level of some top-end planars or hybrids, but don’t forget that these headphones cost much less than them.
But in general, of course, I wouldn’t call the presentation of this area monitory and analytical; this model is definitely not about that, and the area doesn’t feel dry, and on the contrary, everything here sounds very emotional and not as neutral as I’m used to, so all the music in them plays very well. bold and sometimes exciting, but of course the tuning here is definitely tasteful.

Stage and stereo panorama:
Well, the sound stage here turned out to be quite optimal in width and depth, without excessive stretching of images and a pseudo-wide panorama, that is, everything is quite normally localized and there are no particular problems with sound definition.
My conclusion on these headphones:
KiwiEars Forteza turned out to be incredibly beautiful inexpensive hybrid headphones, for lovers of powerful collected textured bass and very energetic and emotional high and mid frequencies.

The soundstage has decent depth and width
Mid frequencies have energetic and emotional
Just a fun and unusual set
Cons: Very unusual taste setting not for lovers of neutral tuning
I would like less emphasis on the upper middle
High frequencies are quite dark I would like to get more transparency and air
Introduction!
Hello friends!
Today we’ll talk about tribrid headphones from the company Celest called Plutus Beast, and the headphones come in a very well-designed box with the model name and company logo at the top.

IMG_1707.jpg

And here the technical characteristics of the headphones are indicated and a short story is written about why this model received such a name and, briefly, according to myths, the Plutus Beast is considered a celestial creature of good luck and is often considered a symbol of wealth, well, that is, I think it’s clear now why this model received such a name again everything according to the canons of ancient mythology.
IMG_1709.jpg

Well, a very interesting combination of drivers is responsible for the sound here, namely 1 bone conduction driver with a diameter of 10 mm, one reinforcement driver, and a proprietary square planar SPD driver. Well, the sensitivity of the headphones is 108dB and they received as much as 8ohms impedance, so I’ll say right away that The headphones are very easy to drive.

Let's take a look at what's included!
And the first thing that greets us in this box is headphones and a leather case.
IMG_1714.jpg

The headphones are made of a slightly transparent dark resin, and the front panel has a golden, eye-catching Celeste logo, but there is also an additional pattern of small iridescent blue and white crystals, and of course, there is a 2-pin connector installed here for connecting the cable, and next to it there is one compensation hole, and on the inside you can see that square planar spd driver a little, I think it’s clearly visible!

IMG_1719.jpg
IMG_1721.jpg

And the sound guide here is not very large and quite standard, so there are no problems with the fit here, since the headphones fit very tightly and everything is fine with sound insulation, although the case here is really very large, but don’t be afraid of it.
IMG_1724.jpg

Accessories!
Now we come to the accessories, which are in an excellent leather case with the inscription Celest!
IMG_1726.jpg
IMG_1728.jpg

And here there is such a very good 4-core cable that doesn’t get tangled much, it has 2 pin connectors for connecting to headphones, and a regular 3.5 jack, but when ordering you can choose a balanced 4.4 if you need it, and I’ll say right away that I used headphones It’s with this cable, well, of course, there are two sets of ear pads that are in these bags, and they’re pretty standard, but you can use headphones with them without any problems.
IMG_1729.jpg
IMG_1730.jpg

But that's not all, here with this beast there is such a beautiful bookmark, a brush for cleaning headphones and very large instructions in two languages!
IMG_1732.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let’s talk about the sound of this model and what they decided to surprise us with this time, and first of all, I’ll immediately say that again this is not the usual Harman tuning that we very often see because, as you can see in the company’s frequency response graph, it’s clear here traces its own special view on tuning to satisfy different taste preferences of listeners.
график(55).jpg

And I would like to start with the fact that upon first listening, it becomes immediately clear that the headphones are made with an emphasis on low frequencies and mids, but the highs here noticeably recede into the background and there is especially clearly a strong decline after 10 kHz, which is of course strong darkens the sound.

Low Frequencies:
But let's start with the low frequencies, which here are presented as confidently massive with a deep, solid sub-bass and quite distinct punch in the mid-bass, but the textural elaboration, in my opinion, leaves much to be desired. I would like to get more transparent and clear audibility of the bass saturation harmonics due to saturation, Otherwise, he still plays, firstly, too warmly, and secondly, too tightly, although the control here is normal, but the attack and decay are quite ordinary without any records.
Mid Frequencies:
The mid frequencies in them are noticeably and very thoroughly emphasized, so the vocals here occupy a wide position of the image in space and, together with the drums, are clearly brought forward towards us, and this is already a fairly familiar presentation and I have already gotten used to it, and I think you too, but here timbrally, the vocals here are conveyed very warmly and smoothly and, surprisingly, they have quite sufficient transparency and quite good intelligibility of timbres and clarity of transmission of various overtones
and the drums here have a very clearly defined attack and transients and leave behind a fairly good aftersound in terms of duration, but still, personally, I would like the upper middle area to be less accentuated, but this is probably a matter of taste, since I know that many people like this more daring and emotional presentation, but still lovers of neutrality will probably give preference to other models!

High Frequencies:
And we smoothly moved on to high frequencies, which here feel very warm tonally with a very small, slightly noticeable highlighted sparkle due to the rise to 8 kHz, but as for me, the presentation of these headphones does not at all go towards hard analytics and some kind of super obvious technicality where you you need to directly disassemble all the music, all the percussion and cymbals, but here, on the contrary, immediately after a couple of hours of listening, it becomes clear that these headphones have received a simply musical and very fun taste setting for lovers of bass and not bright high frequencies!
Yes, they don’t show you a lot of details here, and they hide most of the problems of the recordings, so you can even listen to regular streaming services or MP3s, if of course you use this format, but I would like to make this area more transparent and airy, and of course the decline after 10 kHz I think it will be noticeable by ear for many.

Stage and stereo panorama:
The sound stage here is pretty standard, not super stretched, it’s quite normal width and depth.
My conclusion on these headphones:
Celest Plutus Beast turned out to be beautiful and interesting tribrid headphones with a very fun tuning without any hard analytics or extraction of details, but simply for smooth and a little dark listening.

New Head-Fier
MOONDROP MAY review of hybrid iem by ICYGENIUS 🎧
Pros: A good tuning familiar to everyone
Low frequencies with good texture and weight
Bass attack is good
Mid bass has good punch and insane control
Mids are nice with good weight and sound natural
Transients are pretty good
Treble is detailed and quite technical
Sound stage ok
Cons: I would like to have less Ear-Gain, it would be more universal for most tracks.
Need more transparency and air at high frequencies
The Moondrop Link 2.0 application has problems and very often it does not show the headphone connection at all until I restart it several times, this needs to be fixed urgently.
Introduction!
Hello friends!
I hope you are having a good time during the holidays, but of course I can’t just sit around and not release a honest review of the new hybrid headphones from the Moondrop company, this model is called May and they come in a very nicely designed rectangular box in an anime style.

IMG_1533.jpg

Well, here at the back there is a graph of the frequency response of these headphones, which corresponds to their branded target, but we will figure out whether it corresponds to mine a little later.
And then, as usual, the technical characteristics are indicated and a dynamic driver with a sapphire coating with a diameter of 10mm is responsible for the sound, and it is complemented by a planar driver with a small diameter 6mm, and the sensitivity of the headphones is 120dB and they have a 30ohm impedance.
IMG_1536.jpg

Let's take a look at what's included!
And first of all, we are immediately greeted by the headphones fixed here, and in my opinion they look good, very light and have a metal front panel with a quite unusual design, and personally, the first thing that comes to my mind is the Louis Vuitton brand with their signature design, I hope not only I have such associations haha.

IMG_1540.jpg
IMG_1543.jpg

Well, of course, there is a 2-pin connector installed here that goes exactly in line with the case and there are two compensation holes, one is located here, and the second is located on the inside of the case here, and here such matte and slightly transparent plastic is already used, and the nozzle is here not too long and quite standard and has a projection so the ear pads fit here very securely.
IMG_1544.jpg
IMG_1546.jpg

IMG_1547.jpg

And personally, I didn’t have any problems with the fit here, the headphones fit almost perfectly tightly to the ear and everything is excellent with sound insulation, the only thing I advise is to put wider ear tips here, the fit will be better, I didn’t use the kit ones.
Accessories!
Well, there is also a branded leather case of excellent quality where there is, in my opinion, a truly chic cable.
IMG_1549.jpg
IMG_1550.jpg

It doesn’t get confused and has 2-pin connectors for connecting to headphones and this microphone with two headphone volume control buttons, by the way, it records voice quite well.
IMG_1553.jpg
IMG_1554.jpg

But I don’t understand why moondrop didn’t give the opportunity when ordering to choose a cable with the familiar 3.5 jack or balanced 4.4, because all audiophiles will probably use these headphones with their sources and this means that you will have to buy a cable for them separately.

IMG_1556.jpg
Since it uses usb type-c with a built-in audio chip, but they didn’t write exactly which one, but according to measurements, by the way, it shows good results.
But on the plus side, you can connect headphones to your smartphone, download the moondrop link application from the official website, and you have a good opportunity for those who need it to use an equalizer and ready-made sound presets for these headphones, there is also a tuning option without bass at all, and bass-headed, assertive tuning at low frequencies, and everything switches very quickly, but I must say that the application is often buggy and does not display the headphones at all, you have to overload and reconnect everything again several times, in general, there are still some bugs in terms of software, I hope that someday they will fix it this!

And of course, they didn’t forget about the ear pads; they included exactly 6 completely standard ear tips of different sizes and a bunch of different cards with instructions.
IMG_1558.jpg

How do these headphones sound?
Now let's talk about the most important thing, namely the sound of this model.
And this is what their frequency response graph looks like compared with my target!
график(18).jpg

Well, as you can see in the graph, the low frequencies are normally so booming, which is why the rumble and punch of the bass clearly makes itself felt here, but at least the bass is made carefully with a good approach to the middle and does not go into a fierce bassheadness, but of course, like me I expected the approach to the upper middle to be a little more than on my target, but in general it is within the normal range, but in terms of high frequencies everything is fine here; they are long lasting with small accents.

Low Frequencies:
Let's start with an analysis of the low frequencies, where the headphones demonstrate a very precise and accurate rise with a slight emphasis on the sub-bass, which has excellent weight and volume with good space filling, and I was very pleased with the super smooth and clearly controlled transition to the mid-range, due to which the bass here it is perfectly controlled and literally allows the mid frequencies to reveal themselves in all their glory without interfering with them at all.
The midbass here is presented as dense, not overly punchy, but collected and with a clearly defined attack and good textural elaboration, and it’s worth saying that at low frequencies this is certainly not a basshead model, but I was very pleased to listen to electronic music and hip-hop genres where first In turn, a good and pumping low end is required, of course, without obvious dominance over other frequencies.

Mid Frequencies:
The mids here are presented as very energetic with good weight, good airiness and separation of images, and the presentation here is not dry or monitor-like and rather a little warm with a slight emphasis on the upper middle so that the drums sound more emotional and exciting, and I know that many of you probably love this tone of delivery.
Well, the vocals here are presented cleanly with moderate but not excessive transparency with good and correct timbres, but it is worth saying that it is immediately noticeable that the vocals here are trying to take more attention to themselves and their image is brought forward along with the drum part and everything sounds quite close in location and this gives in places in many tracks a very pleasant immersion effect, and the drum part with quite confident emphasized transients simply complements the whole picture.

High Frequencies:
The high frequencies here have a little colder, but I think the right approach to tuning without excessive brightness and what I call pseudo detailing due to the enhancement of this area, there is also a very confident technicality and an excellent bias towards analytics due to which we have better plate separation and percussion in this range, and of course it’s worth saying that the headphones are quite suitable for heavy and high-speed genres that require a good dedicated attack and a slight but very pleasant to the ear emphasis on high frequencies, the only thing that I would like to get here is a little more air and transparency, this is when compared with my Letshuoer references S15, but the price category there is already very different and the tuning concept itself is different.
Stage and stereo panorama:
In Moondrop May, it may not be a record-breaking one, but the scene has quite optimal width and depth, and the images are drawn separately and exactly from each other.
My conclusion on these headphones:
Moondrop May turned out to be good inexpensive hybrid headphones with a cable that has the ability to customize the appropriate sound to suit your taste, both bassheads and lovers of smooth sound will be happy here, the tonality of the headphones is pleasantly not bright, there are no sibilants, the only thing I would like is for my taste were more neutral in the upper middle, and finally, fix your application so that it normally determines whether headphones are connected.
