Pros: Bass, build quality, cables, looks
Cons: Comfort, mids, highs, short straight cable
Sometimes I just need that bass, it's like an addiction but only comes every now and then. I brought these just for when I really need that bass but can't be annoying the living hell out of my neighbors with my speakers.

I brought these headphones with the impression of amazing, overpowering bass and well I was quite disappointed. The bass extends really deep and well with no distortion, somewhat boomy but not enough impact. I was expecting the type of bass I get from my speakers which is controlled and very powerful and vibrates up my legs, while I certainly don't want my headphones rumbling on my head, there just is not enough power behind the bass. As far as headphones go, tons of good bass, can't really be comparing headphones with 2in drivers to speakers with 8in drivers getting WATTS not milliwatts of power.

Comfort, where did you go??? Not comfortable at all, especially compared to my AKG's. The cups are too small and end up being on my ear. I replaced the pads with the M50 pads and while they are a little bigger, still too small for my huge ears.

Included cables are nice but the straight cable is just 1ft too short for my needs. Great cables though, really good quality and they screw into the headphones for portable use.

Note: I DO NOT use EQ's ever.

Pros: Very fun sounding, good for gaming, beautiful
Cons: Not neutral, ACM is junk, powered by PCIe
I built my first ever PC with this sound card, I had already brought a Asus board that has SupremeFX and well the ZxR dethroned the Asus immediately. I have not heard any of the Asus Xonar PCIe cards but anything is better than integrated onboard sound.

The sound cards look beautiful to me except for the cable that connects the main card to the daughter board, they could have made the cable not have to do a 180 degree bend to connect to each other which would look nicer.

Sound quality is amazing, it has a lot of onboard features which I didn't use because it made the bass sound like it was all over the place and made the highs unnecessarily powerful. It's definetely not neutral sounding, it does have a slight bass emphasis since it is a gaming soundcard, but the bass is very clean and accurate, depending on the headphones it doesn't change the sound much, just adds a tiny bit more bass. The DAC is really good but it downsamples anything above 24/96 to 24/96 if headphones are directly connected to the soundcard. Using stereo direct gives you 24/192 through the RCA to an amp of your choice. The onboard amp is pretty good, it has a software based gain switch to change from low to high gain. I never used the high gain because I only have low impedance headphones and they are plenty loud at low volume. I never heard any kind of distortion ever or noise, very clean power from PCIe, although I would still prefer Asus' version of PSU molex power, instead of going through the motherboard to get power, shorter travel is always better, even though I doubt I will be able to hear a difference.

The SPDIF on the daughterboard is a huge disappointment, for the price it should be able to output 24/192, instead it can only do a maximum of 24/96, one plus though is that it supports 88.2 sample rates, the onboard on my motherboard doesn't. The ACM module is also completely useless, plugging headphones into this instead of directly off the card reduces volume considerably, it's basically a really bad extension cable, it looks really nice though, what a shame.

Overall, great sound card, but it has been replaced by my Schiit Bifrost and Asgard 2. First reason for replacement was my PC is on the floor and a 10ft headphone cable still just barely reaches me.

Pros: Just about nothing besides the looks
Cons: Fatiguing, cables, sound in general, horrible placement of buttons
I brought these on sale at Best Buy for $44, the price they are at right now are a absolute rip off. ($110) Logitech have discontinued these, I will take a guess in my review why that happened.

Okay on to the actual review.

Hooked up to Creative ZxR.

Brought these purely based on looks and because it's Logitech, I like their products! The black and red matched my new PC theme. The little excuse called the subwoofer also was nice and small and doesn't take up my foot real estate, it's quite priceless for me. That's it for the good.

The BAD:

Fatiguing! Listening to music with these for 15mins + leads to my ears being extremely angry, it just sounds bad compared to everything else I own. They were even worse when I had not broken them in yet. Took about 5hrs of burn in time and they sounded a bit better. Before the break in it sounded like the musicians were being gagged or something, it was horrible.

Bass is somewhat controlled, it can go pretty deep. Mids are okay... and the highs are just absolute schiit.

Sounds bad, probably why Logitech axed it.

Only good for gaming where I don't care about fidelity.

Please do NOT buy these at the current price ($110 as of this review on Amazon) TOTAL RIP-OFF. Better off with the Z623 at this price.

Anyways, the title really says it all, I mean how many people buy speakers based purely on looks?

Pros: Drums sound amazing
Cons: Shrill highs, picky
These are my first ever Grado's and I LOVE them, too bad I have to send them out to the next guy.

I was always fascinated by Grado's ever since I saw Auggie's RS2's on Covert Affairs. I just knew I had to try them at one point and along came this awesome opportunity to loan them. I decided to try their cheapest ones because I just wanted to get an idea of their unique sound.

Packaging
Best headphone packaging I have come across, though I've only had the pleasure to open two others. Great packaging. Lots of lovely information to read in the box.

Build quality
Despite being all plastic it's very high quality. Doesn't have that cheap plastic feel to it. The cable shocked me, nice and thick, very high quality. The headband and adjustment are very smooth and feels solid.

Comfort
Super comfortable. I've been looking through Grado threads a lot and comfort is all over the place with the 3 different types of pads. For me, it has to be either on my ear or completely off. Not the most comfortable on ear's but after wearing it a few days, VERY comfortable. Only thing that isn't comfortable is that high quality cable, I personally don't like double sided cables because they always like to annoy me.

I had these connected to my PC's Creative ZxR.
I do not use EQ's ever! I wish everything had pure direct.

Let's start off with the good: Nice close up sound, drums sound amazing, guitars sound amazing. These really are fantastic when listening to metal and rock. Decent amount of bass.

Bad: The highs on certain songs or even certain types of music are unbearable. Easily remedied by lowering the volume a tiny bit though. Turning the volume down sucks though. Pop/classical don't sound any good, anything with ton of electronic bass isn't going to sound good. Sound stage is too small for classical.

These were my first Grado's and I loved them. Will be buying myself either a pair of RS2e or RS1e in the near future.

Thanks for the review!  I think you'll find that over time and with burn-in the shrillness goes away or at least smooths out considerably.  I had several of the Grado SR cans that were that way (SR80, SR225, SR325i Gold Edition)...

I don't know about the new E series too much but the SR60i does have some shrillness with some recordings even when burned in.

Pros: Bass, mids, highs(sort of), comfortable! Sexy
Cons: PITA to put into ears, stock tips
For reference the only other pair of IEM's worth noting are Kilpsch S4' with triple flange tips.

These normally go for around $200 brand new, I got mine like new, for $115! I was originally going to buy Yamaha EPH100's but it was a fight between the Brits and the Japanese, Brits won, I was thinking about Top Gear... Having previously only listened to one pair of KEF speakers at my local Fry's I thought they were going to sound like absolute soul-less junk. (They we're the cheapest KEF's speakers possible)  Well, they didn't...at all.

I am writing this review in BASS mode, so I am using bass boost to maximize the bass.

Bass is really deep and great extension. Mids are still great despite bass boost. Highs have become a bit boring with bass boost.

Very comfortable with foam tips, great isolation. However, it takes AGES to put into my ears, stupid foam tips expand too fast because the earhooks make it take longer to put in. Another thing about my ears, is that they push anything out, even triple flange with superglue, they push them out. I have to push these back in once in awhile.

Build quality is amazing, the aluminum is very high quality and light. The black rubber pieces are very flexible and high quality, doesn't feel like it would break anytime soon.

The carry case it comes with is useless with foam tips, can't close it without the foam being compressed. It's also way to small, takes me about 3 days to put them inside.

I listen with these with a Sony Xperia Z2 and the iApple control thing is surprisingly not annoying, doesn't get in the way.

Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
I'll keep it simple.

Makes my stereo sound 100x better than it ever did.

Super high quality, looks fantastic.

I have it hooked up to my receiver which along with the speakers have been booming strong for the past 25 years, hope it can live as long as them.

Before I hooked this up, bass was uncontrolled and boomy but with the Modi, it's much more accurate. Highs are little better but still not much good, mids are better but like the highs, didn't change a whole lot.

Setup:

Receiver: Pioneer VSX-9700s (25 yrs old)
Speakers: Bose 10.2's (25 yrs old)
DAC: Schiit Modi!!! (4 months old)

I can understand the Modi making converted computer music sound better, but STEREO?
How does it do this, and how do I connect it to my Onkyo 626?  Appreciate any response!

Oh, I have it connected to my HTPC and RCA out to my receiver.

Pros: Bass, high quality, carry case, (comfort, isolation)
Cons: Mids, highs, comfort, isolation
Brought these way back in 2011 for what seems like a total rip off today of $80 or so.

Good: Bass, I think the bass is too dominant with these, it makes the mids sound bad and the highs are just absolute crap. Build quality is good, my right one's cable was not very securely attached to the stress relief but still held up no problem over the years. Stock tips didn't work the best for me, my ears and IEM's hate each other. I brought triple flange tips and the isolation is improved, as well as comfort and no changes to sound quality.

Bad: Stock tips not for me. Mids sometimes taken hostage by the bass. Highs were shot long before, they didn't stand a chance!
