Headsets and microphones for computer use have traditionally been cheap headsets of an even cheaper quality. A request from the U. S. Navy prompted HEIL SOUND™ to solve this problem, and design a high performance computer microphone headset.
HEIL SOUND's™ award winning ProSet™ communications headset was the obvious choice for the MediaPro™. Using a very high level condenser microphone element designed specifically for the requirements of the computer sound cards, the new HEIL™ MediaPro™ brings your computer to life with beautiful broadcast audio.
The ProSet™ speakers are acoustically tuned and use the exclusive HEIL™ Phase Reversal feature that allows the user to acoustically 'move' the sound from front to back By reversing the phasing switch, it creates a spatial widening sound field that makes things easier to understand.
The HEIL™ MediaPro™ comes to you with cotton ear pad covers that can be removed and washed. The comfortable vinyl ear pads they cover also can be removed should they every need to be replaced. A foam windscreen is fitted over the microphone and can easily be removed or replaced.
The HEIL™ MediaPro™ is terminated in two 1/8" male connectors. The Red connector is for the microphone input of your computer while the Black is connected to your audio output.
All HEIL™ ProSet™ Boomsets are shipped with two washable, cotton ear pad covers and a foam windscreen that fits over the microphone. The windscreen does not change the frequency response, just the breath blasts directly into the microphone.
