Build quality is top notch and makes for a surprisingly light headphone.

Earpads will become a little warm after extended use, but that is to be understood for the materials used.

Overall sound is very non-intrusive.  No boomy bass, No ear piercing highs.  Just a nice fun, smooth sound signature.
These are not the most analytical headphones, nor would you want to use them for monitoring.

Though the Encore do provide a sound that is easy to like and a joy to use.

Soundstage is not too big.  Though they are slightly open-backed they have more a closed can sound.
