Searching Aliexpress today i came across this interesting combo unit that at least on the surface sounds like a steal.

On paper it sounds super interesting, same DAC chips as the Topping D10s, but with optical and coax inputs (which i consider essential) AND what seems to be a capable headphone amp thrown in as well.

I was looking to downgrade/sidegrade from my xDuoo XD05 Basic, this feels like the perfect option, so tell me, there’s any reason to avoid this?

Price and feature wise it seems to be on the same level as a Loxjie D10 (which i also previously owned), but the D10 has a less capable headphone amp.

Ordered up the SU5 in black yesterday, can't wait for it to arrive!

I use a couple comically oversized Viborg power cables for my electrostats (purely cause they look cool, not a cable believer) - very good build for the money.

Hey, how's it going?
So i ordered the SU5 from that link you sent in, it sounds really nice when playing something, nicer than my xDuoo XD05, however when there's nothing playing it generates this tinnitus like sound, very audible too, you recon this could be an issue with the power supply they've provided with it?
