[Karawasa]

I used this forum back in the day to find a pair of headphones that suited me. I listen to Trance exclusively so bass is important. I was recommended AKG 81 DJ. That's what I bought. The sound was perfect. The cord was not. It's 8 ft I think. The time has come to get a new pair. I do not want to get the same thing because the cord was really an issue. I would appreciate recommendations on what will sound similar (or better) but has a normal cord length. Regarding budget, I want to spend under $100. I know there are a lot of people here who know their headphones. Thanks in advance.

You should check out the Audio-Technica SJ55. They supposedly have the same SQ as the K 81 DJs but better treble.
