could someone help me . i was looking for akg k550 on ebay and came across a brand new pair for $206 but it said its made in china . i thought they were made in australia .

Look up some of the reviews for this headphone. A few people have complained about them being made in China instead of Austria, like AKG's other higher end offerings.

its still a good head phone right .. now days a lot of high end products are made in china ..the company saves a lot on cost

From what I've heard the build quality is quite good for these headphones.

My AKG K550 headphones are made in china. The build quality is extremely good indeed.
