Well, most ppl 's thing about cable is they don't make a difference.

If you find a cable actually makes audible difference, then probably try a different cable instead?

I have had expensive cables and have sold them. I got $55 Earmax, balanced HD650 cables for my Sony Player and they are absolutely amazing.

Or why not FiiO (X5, as have). I use it with a heavily modded Lovely Black Cube -amp (battery driven with my back pack)!

Note that this cable is rather thin, but I believ it depend´s on the very small Lemo connector. The price is about £90GBP, and you can choose length and if you prefare 3,5 mm (1/8 inch) or 6,35 mm (1/4 inch) connector. For shipping outside UK, the shipping cost is about £5GBP.

I purchased a thicker Van Damme cable and an unsoldered Lemo connector (connector price was £13,11).

But I soldered it to a 3 feet UP-OCC from DHC (Double Helix Cable), and there was not possible to use the Lemo´s housing, so my solution was to skip the housing and hot glue the Lemo pin´s socket directly to the headphones.
