I had the q701s, when they sounded good they were amazing. Unfortunatly, to my ears, the q701s had a fatal flaw. They were too bright, too often. I would like to find an akg ( massive soundstage, detail retrieval, seperation/imaging ) that I can pair with a tube amp, that is not as fatigueing in the treble and/or upper mids. Thank you

You already have an amp for your AKGs. Good.
