I don't think anyone's brought this up before, but I feel like a different set of earpads would be nice on the MA900, velour perhaps. I've worn the DT880 and their earpads are very nice feeling. Leather, pleather and other isolating-type pads are a big no for the MA900 as they muddle up the sound quite bad. Does anyone have any idea which pads would fit?
I measured the pads as being 10cm in diameter and their inner ring as being 8.5 cm. I'm also gonna find and/or make a foam strap for the headband, as I find it a bit lackluster even though it's rather forgiveable considering the weight of the headphones.
