I am a touring drum technician and need some IEMs for live stage performances. I am not playing so i don't need the whole mix only the drums and for people to speak to me through them.
The Shures are in budget and look to do the job but was was wondering if there are any alternatives i should consider.
Isolation is key, there will be a lot of stage noise i need to block out but still hear the in ear mix without it being so loud it's damaging my ears. (already have tinnitus)
Finally i know custom molds are ideal but i simply can't afford them at present. I also live in the UK so they must be available here. Budget it up to £150 ($225).
Thanks!
