Hi, I'm considering purchasing 600Ω DT880 Premiums for home use and I need an amp to drive them. I don't have much to spend on it (about $150).
I was consider the following amps:
Focusrite 2i2
Echo audiofire 2
Fiio E9
Objective2

Will any of these drive the 880s or is there a better choice?

Thanks.

Single tube headphone amplifier, sold on eBay, I like the Indeed MK2 model.
Lots of Voltage for your 600-Ohm headphones

What are you using for a DAC?

Thanks for the amp suggestion, I think I'll take it!
I wasn't planning on getting a DAC due to budget limitations, but since that amp is only $76, would an E7 be good or is there something better?

The Indeed amp. is $76, plus $18 shipping.
The E7 is a DAC and amplifier, not something you would normally use with a separate amplifier.
The Xonar DX/D1 come with the CS4398 DAC chip, which is a fairly good DAC chip and the Xonar comes with Dolby Headphone surround sound for movies and gaming.
Unless you need something like the E7 for portablilty?

I would need an external DAC (will be moving the setup around for use with different sources), portability isn't an issue as long as it's not much larger than the amp.

Dac Destroyer, USB-DAC. current bid is $38, add $9 for shipping.
