I'm looking at buying an Archos 5, but I've been managing my music collection with iTunes for years now and I've grown quite fond of it.
Is it possible to sync an Archos 5 with iTunes? If not, which programs are recommended for syncing the Archos?

just drag and drop. go to itunes, select the songs in the album, artist or playlist and drag that bunch to the finder or explorer folder where your music is stored on the archos.

Strange, cause as long as the player mount into the OS folder structure it should be possible.

The only way you can sync the archos 5 is through windows media player I think. If you have a library on it you could probably sync the library but you can't use iTunes to sync files. Make sure the files are compatible with archos 5 before you sync.

well, i guess i meant drag and drop. though, even simple playlists can easily be made to drag and drop content. as for erasing content, you will have to go through explorer or finder to do that.
