The EX1000 is my most premium headphone I have, dont have cans and I like Sony alot, always wanted a pair of MRD1’s, would they be better or equal in general sound to the EX1000’s?

The Sony MDR-EX1000 has quite a legendary presence in the IEM world and the MDR-1A/R series was not as highly regarded.
