The Asgard 2 will be more neutral and clear and powerful, and the Vahalla will add warmth. Depending on what classical music you listen to, your choice could go either way. Perhaps you could ask on the dedicated HD650 threads for more input.

Would i be able to use the valhalla without a dac? I'm planning on getting it, then getting a dac a week or two later.
