I'm also interested in that odin combo,it's bass detail is fantastic, do you have a method to tame the brightness, I tryed a pure copper cable and foam tips I use with those players and ierz1r which usually works well but unfortunately not with Odin. I hear oden is not overly bright with a very warm player which I don't have unfortunately.

Hello guys, I have a question regarding the newer UI of the SP3000. With the Favorites library section, are there options to tag both albums AND tracks seperately within the player for them to quickly show up on your Favorites library folder? Or can you only tag albums?

Thanks

I've just picked up an SP3000 and am having trouble getting the built in Tidal app working, If I open it I simply get this message 'An error occurred to log in. Please try again later', with a red toast notification saying 'Authentication failed net:ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED' I have managed to download the Tidal app from the 'app store' on the device and that seems to work, but am concerned that it will be limited by the Android bitrate/sample rate limitation or not fully unfold MQA files. Is this a known problem, and is the downloaded app equal in performance to the custom built in app? All updates (system and apps) have been performed.

There seems to be an issue discussed a few pages back. It seems to be an issue with Tidal and I believe Jason has commented check through the thread I’m sure it was looked into and i guess hasn’t been resolved yet obviously.

I can't find any posts regarding Tidal login problems since 2022, the latest problems seem to be related to Roon ARC. Surly someone on this forum is using the bult in Tidal app?

Only tracks. No albums.

Just tried the built-in app and no issues for me logging in. Are you on the latest firmware? v. 1.36

Player does full MQA unfolding and bit-perfect playback with the installed downloaded apps, including Tidal, bypassing Android limitations.

The Odin does really well with EQ, which I usually set up through Roon Arc. Unfortunately, the app isn't functional at the moment...

Yes, it is running 1.36cm, so your saying the pre-installed app is the same quality as the downloadable version?

Edit, I've sorted it. My DNS (pihole) was blocking 'geolocation.onetrust.com'. Whitelisting that solved the problem.

correct. All streaming apps that are installed in the services tab bypass the Android 24/48 playback limitation and do bit-perfect playback, including full MQA decoding. The built-in version is more streamlined for the player and has less overhead than the full Android app, but we are not allowed to offer offline mode in the built-in, so if you want offline downloads, you will need to use the full version.

I use this combo occasionally in wired mode. It's not the final word in sound quality but the Solitaire T folds up nicely, so it's easy to bring on a business trip for instance.

I am interested in how it sounds with bluetooth and noise cancelling for when I am on a long plane journey for example please. I'm not expecting it to compete with top-end wired IEMS. Any feedback much appreciated
