I contacted Moon Audio. Novus is only available for preorder still. They said it's now scheduled for end of June '24 release.
They should update their site to not say “in stock” then. A little annoying. Was going to probably grab them.

Please note, the Astell&Kern NOVUS, our latest collaboration with Empire Ears, has been delayed and expected to begin shipping to dealers around the end of June 2024.
Bummed but looking forward to getting my hands on them!

I know it's been a little quiet in these parts, but we just got our Novus demo last week, so the team has been listening non-stop.
So far, my main pairings have been A&K SP3000 (original) and iBasso DX320 MAX. I think other guys like @DiFazio have listened with some other gear. The sounds seems like a more refined version of the Raven: a little wider, slightly harder hitting bass. The shell is exactly as big as it looks (pics attached).

We don't have an RS9 in the house, so we haven't been able to check it out on that. Listening to a couple reference tracks, the subbass is really similar between Raven (OG) and Novus, so it seems like the second BCD may be more intended to help them improve the spatial feeling in the sound rather than simply bolster the low-end.

Thanks Stephen. I think this might be interesting crossroads for EE, one WeaponX BCD vs two sonion BCDs
