I understand that the issue may very well be on Amazon's end, but most of my other Android DAPs (Hiby, FiiO and Sony) have somehow resolved it at this point. Respectfully, perhaps it is worth another look.
I have not seen any mention of it being fixed on other manufacturer DAPs. Thank you for the heads-up. I will pass it onto our dev team.

Thank you! Specifically, it currently works correctly at 24/192 on my Hiby R5, R6 Pro, R6 2020, FiiO M11 Pro, Sony A105 and ZX507. The only one that doesn't work (other than AK) is my old FiiO X7II. And yes, I have too many DAPs. I blame COVID. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have one being delivered on Sat. I'm excited to finally hear an AK player. Wish I could use blackplayer on it though as I absolutely love that player. I love my genres to be sorted by artist then by albums under that. Really don't want to have to shift through all the albums under a genre

It's here and loading music then I'll have to load spotify and a new tidal. Might see if I can load blackplayer somehow as I don't like the built in player. Just dumb how everything is sorted.

I cant find the propper spotify apk. I get errors for every one I try to install using xapk and none others are visible on the se100...

Finally found a version that would work and none of the ones on apkpure worked.
Nevermind keep getting it crashing when I open it.

can someone please share the apk or download location of a working apk as apkpures dont work. I get a ling on apk pure to download from google play...

Hi, I know the Problem with the invisible APK's but I don't use Spotify, so I can't help You.
Maybe You can go to the SP2000 Thread to ask, from my Memory there are some Spotify Users present and (normally) the APK's work on all Astell Players. Maybe a few one not, so I have noticed on my AK Players.

Try direct from Spotify. They have this link for people without Play Store:

@JasonNYC Another Suggestion for next Firmware: I think it relates to all A&K Players. The Amazon Music App is only capable of playing 24-bit/192kHz Material if you play a song before in 24bit/192kHz with the Onboard Player. Otherwise, Amazon Music App will show that the device is only capable of playing up to 24bit/48KHz. I think that must be a bug within the Hardware/Software of the A&K Players.
I was told today in our team meeting this is actively being worked on and should be fixed in a future firmware update soon. I will share more once I know.

My music library keeps disappearing when I turn off my player for the night then turn back on the next day. It keeps having to re scan the sd card and re adding my music.

Is this for music stored on the SD card? If so, is the SD card formatted in the FAT32 format as recommended in the user manual?

Yes it's on the sd card. It happens every few days I turn the player back on and does a full rescan. Yes fat32

Let me talk to our support team as I am not quite sure of what the issue may be. Have you tried a different microSD card and to see if you have the same issue?

I no longer have other cards to test. Sent them out with my fiio m11. It's a 1tb SanDisk. I can try reformatting it again and reloading all the music, but that takes about a day to load 35k music files.

My other suggestion would be to try a manual media scan if you have not done so. A manual media scan will force a full database rebuild and indexing of tracks in both internal and external memory. Depending on the amount of tracks, it can take up to 15 - 20 minutes for a full scan. To perform a manual media scan - Settings -> System Reset -> initialize media scan. If you have playlists created on the player, make sure clear playlists is NOT SELECTED.

Another possibility could be an unsupported file format on the microSD card. Usually during a scan, if the player hits an unsupported file, it skips it and tried to rescan it again at random intervals. Sometimes the constant rescans to try and index the unsupported file can cause stability issues with reading files.

The music library is replaced every time it scans. This happens pretty much every time the player is off for a decent amount of time. Say 24+ hours. After it scans its fine, but scan takes hours to replace all the music.
