I bought this a while ago to get back into vinyl just a bit. My problem is that it doesn't play as loud as my CD player out of my AVR a Denon AVR -3310 CI . It has phono inputs but I have to turn it up about 19 db more as per volume setting to get the same loudness as from my CD player . I get the same result from my Yggdrasil I have tried other inputs but the same results. One thing I haven't tried is the USB connection on the turntable but the Yggy doesn't have that option . Just wondering if a preamp would help? This is is just for my two channel setup as I would have do major change to get vinyl into my headphone setup but I would like to. I was thinking of getting a separate preamp to go straight two channel with my Adcom GFA 555 and Polk LSi-15's on there own but switching to movie watching might be a problem. I don't know which way to go. Any options would be appreciated .
