I've had this pair of ATH M-50's for about three months and I just took them on a plane ride in which they were probably treated a little less than gently. Now, no sound comes out of the right headphone unless I position the left one (where the cable is attached) at exactly the right angle. The cable doesn't seem to effect whether to the sound's absence, the key seems to be in the positioning of the pivoting part. Is there anyone who knows what's wrong and could tell me if there is some simple fix, or what kind of store I could take it to. I have no warranty on them and I really don't want to give up on them yet. I would appreciate any suggestions, thanks.

Get them recabled. It may even improve sound quality and reduce crosstalk compared to the original cables (or so I have heard).
