Hello, I am looking for some general purpose headphones for all types on music and games, not looking to spend too much.

Any suggestions?

Koss Portapro (though they don't fit the prerequisite of being crap).
Sony MDR-V6 (same problem as above).

Check out the Sennheiser HD-202. A friend of mine just got his and I had a quick listen. They were pretty decent!

The Samson SR850(known as Superlux HD668 too) are amazing for the price, they sound clean, detailed(comparable to HD555) with deep punchy bass.

Portapro for portables/on-ear; MDR-V6, Superlux HD668B, or JVC HARX-700/900 for full-size. All are excellent for the price.

Superlux hd681 , a more fun version of the HD668B with deeper bass.
