I'm a big fan of asymmetric earphones, after 10+ years of using Sonys, to the point where I simple can't get used to the popular y-cord style. I've been searching everywhere for a pair of asymmetric earphones with an inline remote and mic that will work with my iphone 4S. Anybody know of any?

The two I could find are the Sony MH1C (I think it is compatible) and the Sennheiser MM70i. I'm looking to spend in the $150 range, and these seem a bit on the cheap side. Anybody know of any high end ones?

Thanks.

Look at these, XBA-3IP never opened:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B006K556Y4/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

or XBA-2IP never opened:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B006K556TY/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used

I'd shell out $40 extra bucks and go for the XBA-3 once and for all.

Thanks, but unfortunately Sony make their earphones with inline remote symmetric, rather than asymmetric like the rest of their range. Quite frustrating, as they'd have been perfect.

Sorry, my bad... really, what a shame.

Actually, I got my Amperiors from Dahmart. Wanted them bad, but wasn't willing to pay full retail, so I took the chance. Product was as promised, I could not find a single sign of use, and all accesories were included. Very good experience for me, and they came with Sennheiser warranty.

You just have to make sure the seller is an authorized dealer, and in the worst case Amazon's costumer protection has got your back. Hope this helps.

Bump! I have exactly the same problem. I'm actually a big fan of Sennheiser, but I have to say I'm not really into the look of the MM70 and that remote looks way too big on the tiny cable, like it's asking to get caught.

Anyone know of any others?
