Best Gaming Headset <$75 for Xbox360

Take a microphone from a useless (not broken, duh) headset and attach it to your headphones.

I haven't tried those personally.  I would read up on it in MadLustEnvy's review though.  He's known around here for console gaming audio.

Used these specifically for gaming for a long time.  They work great with the mixamp, and have solid bass.  They're fun, and good for competitive gaming too.  My only gripe was my ears got a little sore after a while because of the shallow earpads (or my big ears) so that's something to consider.

I did read it and it was a pretty good review. On a unrelated note do you use the variable bass function on the turtlebeach x12 or do you just leave it on zero?

I usually set the bass to zero when I'm playing competitive games like CoD.  On any other games like Dark Souls, Mass Effect, etc I turn up the bass quite a bit.
