I really love how dt150 looks, they have rugged no nonsense design even you can go to the war with them! but 250ohm imp. will need power that I can not provide right now. Maybe I could be happy with either BYR DT100 16ohm or DT250 80ohm, just checked their availability on some reseller website.

After some research I found KRK KNS 6400 (successor known as KNS 6402) is the best under $100 all rounder HP, good for vocal centered musics/fps games/movies and no need for amp!, based on this post and entire thread: https://www.head-fi.org/threads/krk-kns-6400-review-impressive-99-giant-killer.560605/post-7645613
it would be a nice battle between KRK KNS 6400/8400, AKG K361/K371, Audio-Technica M40X/M50X and Shure SRH-440/840 since they are all highly sensitive, with low impedance (only shure has more 44 ohm imp.) and cheap! ($100-$150).

Question: Does anyone know where to buy genuine krk pads in case these cheapo pads disintegrate? I mean there are 3rd party pads out there but if these cans were tuned to sound the way they do on the stock pads then other pads will make them worse than the other options on this list. You know what I mean

I made an account to find a budget friendly headphone for gaming and listening to music. I want to enjoy game's soundtracks and I mostly listen to hard rock/heavy metal musics mostly at home so i don't need portability and I'm ok with open/semi open options. I don't have any Amp/Dac and don't have any plan to purchase one, best I can do is using FLAC music files. I have to inform you many good headphones like meze99, fostex, Philips shp 9500/9600, Fidelio series, Samson or Superlux and etc. are unavailable in my country because of that I have hard time to find a good pair of cans. Btw i need detachable cable and i do not need microphone just playing solo games. build quality is an important factor to me.
