Hey guys im want to buy some good cans under 100$, after doing some research my best options are the Grado SR80i, Sony MDR-V700DJ and AKG K240... Mostly for Jazz and Alternative Rock.

Feel free to suggest other headphones.

got my ATH-m50s for $109 at Scitscat.com. Although the Grados may be better for Jazz/rock.

Do not get the v700djs, I have them... unsuitable for anything but beat matching (although I don't think they sound terrible for around $70)

Best to me are...

AKG K240 Sextett

Only if you can find a pair for under $100. Sounds better than the K240 Studio, but much harder to drive.

AKG K240 Studio

I think this is a good alternative to the HD-555 and it's just as comfortable. It even makes a good gaming headphone!

Koss Pro DJ 100

Basically my favorite headphone under $200 that's closed. It has very good, forward sounding mids, quite a lot of bass, but not quite bass heavy. Level of detail is very high, but has very slightly rolled off highs. Also gets my vote as one of the better budget closed gaming headphones. They're also only $80! I even prefer them to the SRH-840, M50, K240, ESW9, HFI-680 and many others. The only like I might like better overall is the HD-598 (under $200).

Maxell DHP-II is also a pretty good headphone and I highly suggest it. It's just very fragile, but it's only $30!!

Shure SRH-440 also isn't bad. It's quite bright to me though. For the price, it's a good deal.  Comfort isn't that good.
