Hi all,

We are pleased to share with everyone that we have launched the Apos Ray 6SN7 Reserve Vacuum Tube—where cutting-edge engineering meets the pinnacle of audio performance. Designed exclusively for hifi audiophile devices, the Reserve series represents the peak of sound excellence. Experience vocals that are nothing short of revelatory: smooth, lifelike, and exquisitely present. The treble, crisp yet laid-back, achieves a careful balance that avoids sibilance or harshness, while the low end is full and commanding, without excess, for a soundstage that brings your music to life in a wonderfully realistic way. For a limited time, you can buy a single tube at the introductory price of $184.99, significantly down from $209.99, with options to purchase in pairs and quads.

Key Features
  • Hand-selected and tested
  • Gold pins for corrosion resistance and excellent conduction
  • A substantial upgrade from standard NOS tubes
  • Low noise and microphonics
  • Fewer than 5% of the tubes commissioned for production meet our voltage, current, and sound signature standards
  • Apos 3 month warranty against manufacturing defects

After the great Apos Ray 12AU7 I'm very interested in these.
Nice to see some more high quality new production tubes.

You guys should sell some socket savers as option during checkout so we can lift the tubes to fit our enclosure

It's exciting to see more options for premium new production 6SN7 tubes. A 3 month warranty seems a little short for a $200 tube though. I would have liked to see at least 6 months to feel like they're confident in the quality of their stock.

That's an interesting idea. Getting into tube is not a very friendly experience for many so why not have Apos offer a "tube amp initiation kit" comprised of a 336SE and some Apos Ray tubes. The person buying his first tube amp then receives a good amp with great tubes right away and has a great first experience instead of what happens many times, just quitting tubes thinking it doesn't sound that great because of the cheap tubes manufacturers often provide.

I think I'd be interested in trying out the 336SE with Apos tubes at a great price!

Great looking tube. Can you provide some insights on the sound vs Sophia Electric Blue, Linlai Globe and NOS Tungsol 6SN7s? Thanks.

Dang, that's quite pricey for a new production 6SN7, when you can find NOS "Holy Grails" for about the same. I would love to test them against some of the better NOS tubes at some point. . .

Also, curious what y'all consider "standard nos tubes"? Which one's are you talking about?
