Looking for some recommendations on a reasonably priced portable DAC/AMP for Low Impedance IEMs.  For example, the Dunu DN-2000J have an impedance of 8 Ohms, so Im looking for something that will improve the sound while not making it sound "loud".  Thanks

I feel as though most lower impedance IEMs don't need an amp as long as you have a good source. What source are you currently using?

If you really want an amp/DAC, look for amps with extremely low resistance. For 8ohms, you should aim for below 1ohm output impedance.

How loud it will be depends on how far you twist the volume knob. Power isn't important and neither is higher gain (for IEMs anyway), and all you really need is a low output impedance amp with a good volume control so you don't get channel imbalance.

Still, if your source now has a low enough output impedance you're not getting a lot of distortion due to how efficient the IEMs are, and on top of that, chances are it has digital volume control, so you're not going to deal with channel imbalance either.

If you really insist on an amp just get the Fiio Q1, and if you can use its DAC section too then all the better.
