I recently received my T5p and have been really enjoying them with all sorts of music but when my shuffle function reached Freefall by Feint, I felt something was wrong.
I'm currently using them straight from my iPhone 4 with no equalizer at 33% volume.

At about 4 seconds in there's a midbass beat (it is midbass right) that is inaudible through the T5p with my current setup.

Is this normal? I have a limited window of opportunity to return them so I'm really hoping they're not defective...
Now is it possible it's my ears? I have swimmers ear so it's possible there's some moisture in my ear...

Or is this common with the T5p? If so, do they just need to be burned in?

Thanks

The T5p has a "hole" in the bass response if these graphs are correct. This may or may not explain why you hear it as if some bass notes are missing.

Yea, that's about right. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure mine isn't defective. I put bass boost EQ on my iphone and it helped a lot. I guess an amp would also help too.t

Any recommendations for amps?
