... I'm talking about the 32 ohm version. The only threads I've encountered refer to the Limited Edition model -- I'm not sure if that is the same thing as the one I see on Amazon. Is the 32 ohm version a few notches below the 80 and 250 ohm versions? The lower impedance and shorter cable is really appealing to me for gadding about, but not at the expense of sound quality.

Thanks -- yes I knew that -- but I recall somebody saying the lowest impedance version was inferior. This was in regards to the 880s, wondering if it holds for the 770s?

I've heard the array of Beyer before, and to my ears there's no difference. The amps and DACs that are needed to run the higher resistance headphones can make a huge difference, but again to my ears I hear no difference.
 
I also can't see it be a wise choice for Beyer to sell three different level of headphones and joining them under the same title.

Though, take with salt as I don't have any on me at this moment.
