Hi, I'm not sure if anyone can guide me...

I have an old Marantz hifi system which doesn't include Bluetooth. I now also have a pair of Edifier r2180 Bluetooth speakers.

Is there any way that I can use a Bluetooth adapter of some sort to give my Marantz Bluetooth capabilities and then connect to the Edifier speakers to play old CD's?

Thanks for any advice...

What you want to achieve is possible.
You will need to purchase a bluetooth transmitter (most of them also have receiver functionality too).
They cost around $20-30 and mostly come with 3.5mm stereo plugs, so you will need an adapter to split it into the red and white RCA outputs on your Marantz amp.
Probably the Line-out would be best, the same one you would use for tape-recorders.
Then just play your CDs, select the Line-out output on the Marantz and make sure the bluetooth transmitter is connected to your Edifier speakers.

But you'd likely get a better quality signal if you just bypassed the bluetooth transmitter entirely and simply connected the RCA cable from the Marantz directly to the Edifier Line inputs.
Would be cheaper too.
