I was attempting to make them an open headphone by drilling holes in the back. While in the process, my driver became detached from the wires. The adhesive on it had been destroyed as well. Picture to show what broke:

The entire headphone at this point doesn't make any noise, so I'm not sure if it's just that one part that is broken, but everything else looks completely fine. It's just the gray epoxy that is broken. So, how do I fix it? Thanks!

You messed up something else for the whole thing not to give sound.

Broken M50s pop up on eBay all the time, by the way.  If anything is permanently broken, you can always try buying another busted M50 and take parts from it to repair your own.
