Hey, new here to the forum because I am in desperate need of some help with these cans.
Background: I bought them at E-Earphone in Tokyo in 2014. They are the best and most comfortable cans I've had for my purposes (mostly commuting, etc.)
Problem: At some point in time, both swivel parts broke allowing each cup to spin independently. Over time (and not the best care, I suppose) they spun and twisted the wiring to the point where I can only hear out of one side. Untwisting does not seem to help. Denon has not been helpful and there's no one I can take them to near where I live. Ideally, I'd like to take them apart and reconnect/solder the wire that seems to not be connecting. Problem is that I have no idea how to take these apart--there's nothing online for this particular model. Videos I found for other Denon models don't seem to apply to this one.
How do I go about doing this? Can anyone point me in the direction of threads or videos of this? Thanks in advance!
