The first time I became aware of the brand "Simgot" was around 2016, when I was attracted by one of their products (EN700-SUZAKU): metal case, nice resolution and good price for me.
At the end of last year, their new product EN1000 once again attracted me with good looks and nice sound at the right price.

The metal + glass design adopted by the EN1000, the last time I saw it, was on Tanchjim's Prism.
Tanchjim's Prism, it's the IEMS that makes me fall for the first sight. But its price, for me, won't make me fall for it, but the EN1000 will.

Gold + silver is really my favorite color combination. (pic from headfonia)

Ok, I‘d like to briefly describe its tonality: still Simgot-ish, I mean its sound is similar to other Simgot iems, like the EM2.
It has a cold sound. The mids is thin and the subbass is not enough for me, which may make it be good for some female vocals.

Interesting tuning design: Most manufacturers are using damping/sound tubes for tuning, but Simgot uses capacitors to reduce treble. The plugs do have four contacts, but Simgot didn't provide me with a balanced plug, which prevented me from using a source with balanced output for more separation.

Well, Simgot has the EM2R now with a new CNT dynamic and more bass. That might be more your thing. :)

How's your JH3 btw?
Great little earphone there with the JH3. No area to even complain about. Some might if they have brighter sources plus the JH3 treble focus adds to it too much or a weedy low output might not push enough bass with them. They sing pretty sweet though with a fun and dynamic musical sound and good technical ability. Not as pretty as the Simgot though. :)

Thanks but I've tried it, still simgotish, still got an ≈5khz peak. EN1000 sounds better than it.
Yep. the dynamic was changed and the housing a bit it seems but same on the high end so that probably didn't change. Really liked the EM2 with my Cowon but the newer D3 has a nice mature treble with quality but is tame so they didn't exhibit that there. Even used Sedna Earfits that keep a lively top end.

Hi Wasaabi. I've just recently been exposed to the Simgot brand because of the new EM2R. I've fallen in love with this IEM, and I've ended up putting my FiiO FH5 in the drawer because of it. I guess I'm a fan of the Simgot sound, but being a bit of a bass lover the added bass I've read about in the new EM2R is probably a necessity. I don't think I'd like it with very much less bass.

Since you've heard both, where do you find the EN1000 and the EM2R stack up against one another on bass specifically? I'm thinking of importing an EN1000 because that's looking like the next logical step for me if I want a similar EM2R sound, just improved. That beryllium coated driver on the EN1000 looks appealing also, assuming the bass is tuned right.

I can only find one site that imports it to the US right now, and you are the only one who has even mentioned it online, so it's a bit of a blind buy if I go for it.

If you see the EN1000 as an upgrade from the EM2R, there's no problem. But if you want more bass from the EN1000 than the EM2R, I don't think it's the right choice for you. My feeling is that the EN1000 significantly improves the smoothness of treble compared to the EM2R, and soundstage.
