We've finally located a better performing 3.5mm mini jack. I've been looking around for something for about 3 years now and finally found it. All new models of Earcandy and Panorama cables that use the 3.5mm mini jack will be supplied with this connector from now on.
This more than doubled our cost for that part, but our sales have increased enough that we are enjoying an economy of scale that has allowed our prices to remain the same. In fact, we've never had to institute a price increase, and we're doing our best to keep it that way.
