i'm looking for a portable pair of on-the-ear headphones for use with my ipod and laptop, tried out the P5 at the apple store but havent been able to try out the others (Audio Technica ATHESW9A, Beyerdynamic T50p, Sennheiser HD25-1 II)
i do own the following: Audio Technica ATH-M50, Grado SR80i, Ultimate Ears TripleFi 10, and i listens to all kind of genre.........

right now i'm leaning toward the P5 because it's comfortable, i also tried the Klipsch Image ONE and it is not comfortable at all for me

any recommendation?

thanks!

Heres a list questions that will us help you.

  • What are you looking for sound wise
  • If you not sure on 1, what are the genre's you like?
  • Do you want on ear or over ear and do you wear glasses?
  • Do you need a lot of isolation?
  • Do you want something flashy or expensive looking or is only about sound for you?
  • What's your min and max price range?

i listens to electronic, r&b, alternative rock,

want on-ear, do wear glasses

i do need isolation, will be using at work so it needs to be closed back

i'm looking for sound quality not something flashy

max price range $300

EDIT: sorry, didn't read carefully.

Creative Aurvana Live are probably the most comfortable headphones I have ever tried on. I don't own them but I do enjoy their sound, which is not the most neutral but is slightly darker.
