I recently picked up a Cypher Labs Theorem 720. I primarily listen to music on an Ipod G7 120gb w/Shure se535's.

On the Theorem 720 the music sounds FANTASTIC!

Having said this,..I bought an Ipod Video Generation 5.5 Enhanced with the intention of upgrading the HD w/ a 512Gb Mydigital BP4e.

When I plug directly into the Ipod G5.5 I can hear music just fine...when I connect to my Cypher Labs DAC/amp I get nothing but electrical static (hissing and whistles)

I have no idea what might be going wrong...I know it's hard to diagnose electronic problems with just a description.

ANY tips or clues would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

From the Cypher Labs Theorem 720 web page:

Works with all modern Apple devices made after 2007 (note: the older iPod Classic 5.5 does not support USB Audio)
