So, maybe it's because I'm using an iPhone and not Android, no idea, but I've found that the BT doesn't sound very good to me, compared to the USB connection. Maybe that's obvious and I just didn't really think about how big a difference it would be. Kinda disappointed as I was hoping to, at least half the time, use the H2 in BT mode, but vocal get really muted. I specifically compared Norah Jones You've Ruined Me, another goto audiotester for me, and her voice changes dramatically between USB and BT.
Also, without the Wyrd in between, USB out of the Mac sounds pretty bad. About 20% of the songs are distorted.
Using Optical, it's still scratchy distorted.
Through the Schiit Wyrd, the H2 sounds stunning.
I can also recommend the Wyrd. Perhaps Chord should incorporate Wyrd technology in the next iteration of Hugo.
I don't see how BT can possibly sound very good. It is not a high fidelity means of conveying audio signals. Why Chord decided to incorporate BT in a device of the caliber of Hugo2 is a mystery, since the money people pay for the Hugo2 goes to waste if they use BT.
